Well, Shmoo, you just taught me something new. If we can leave the passports in the stateroom safe, and get off with just everyone's KTTW cards + U.S. driver's licenses for the adults, that would eliminate a lot of worry. Thank you for the heads-up!

When we were on the Magic many years ago, we purchased these handy water-resistant containers on a lanyard to keep driver's licenses, room key cards, money etc. I love them. i wear them in the water around my neck. Things stay dry & secure. Hope they still have them available in the gift shops.

This thread really made me think about safety of my valuables. I hadn't really worried much about it before. We always just put it in a shoe and threw a towel over it or something like that.

Interesting to read the reviews of the different options. I really like the KYSS bag. I remember watching the SharkTank episode with the other option, but those things are on backorder. The thing I wonder about is are you just advertising ... here are my valuables, come get them ... to a would be thief?

We typically take only a few things with us if we're planning to go to the beach. Picture ID, one credit card, KTTW card and a little cash. The most expensive thing we have at that point is our smart phone. I'll have a waterproof camera, but that is usually with me.

Just a data point.

We have sailed many times, many operators, eastern, western, BDA, southern, etc, many ports, many beaches, sometimes multiple beaches per port beginning in the 90's. Never have had a problem. Wrap goodies in a towel, outside the bag. JMO.

Of course, I will now bring a diaper for our valuables. If missing when return, you know where they are. In the trash can.
