Hello! Let me introduce ourselves...Christa (me) and Kevin (hubby). Going away for our 21st anniversary and staying 3 nights at Royal Pacific Resort, arriving this Sunday!! Our trip started out as a resort only getaway and has quickly changed!!! We planned on coming down and just relaxing by the pool, enjoying all the restaurants and of course the bars too!! Our plans have changed and now we have park tickets and can't wait to leisurely walk around without our three teenage children. We kinda felt guilty about going away without them but that didn't last long We can't wait to eat where we want, ride what we want and relax when we want!!!

Only three days of work left and then we are outta here!!! I can't get enough of these boards:surfweb: I think my coworkers are tired of hearing about my upcoming trip. Booked a cabana for Monday and our transportation from MCO with Tony Hinds. Seriously cannot WAIT:dancer:

How lovely!

Sounds like a really nice trip you have planned.......it'll be wonderful. Look forward to reading about it......

We leave our house in just 16 hours!!!:Pinkbounc Haven't packed a thing :scared1: Just finished cleaning my house and last load of laundry is drying. :laundy: Hubby just finished cutting the grass in this unbearable NJ heat (high of 98 with heat index of 108) and took a quick dip in the pool. First time we are taking an adult only vacation without our kids. Unless you count the time we had to go to Florida to empty out my In Laws house after they passed. We stayed at a beautiful hotel on the beach in Vero Beach for four days but did not get to go to the beach or pool once!! :confused3 We had 60 yrs of stuff to go thru, no time for fun:(( So needless to say we are BEYOND excited for this mini getaway. Three nights /four days at Royal Pacific with park passes:cool1:

:drinking1:drinking1So my house will be clean for about 5 hours until my teens and black lab puppy get ahold of it:rotfl2: but I feel better knowing it was done before I leave. Haven't even taken my luggage out of the basement and all I wanna do is go get a pedicure:laughing: I have never only had to worry about packing for just myself. See I'm usually a bit of a control freak when it comes to vacation packing and with three kids it was an all day event. This time I'm just throwing my stuff in the bag and having a drink afterwards:drinking1 I need to start training my liver to handle the pool side drinks at RPR. Might have to try the 45oz drink.

I have no idea how those two drinking emoji's ended up at the top of my post...swear I'm not a lush!!!:D

Lol........

The 45oz is well worth it.......I can't remember which drink we got in it.......but it was very mango pineapple flavours........and very lush!

Have a great trip..........:)

Thank you pcstang and schumigirl!!! Getting my toes done now. Clothes are packed. My daughter is almost back from her week vacation camping in Shenandoah National Park. Can't wait to her all about her trip:)) then it's early to bed for us bc we are supposed to be at the airport at 5:45am

We are two weeks out now and I feel the same way! My boss is a Disney fanatic and enjoys harry potter, we could talk and both parks for hours until our office mates tell us to hush and get some work done!
