AP Passport Arrives Late

The Summer 2016 edition of the UOAP Passport, which contained a lot of stuff I wish I'd known about, did not reach me in the mail until after August 19. This, even though "Passport Appreciation Days" started on that date. And no email notification of these days, either. This has happened in the past as well; at least one time, I got one of these AP special event bulletins in the mail two days after the event had ended. I have tried to keep my info up to date on the AP portion of Universal's website, but apparently that's not good enough.

Does this happen to anyone else? I felt particularly burned about not knowing of the Passholder After Hours thing on August 20, which was my arrival date.

I think we all have had that experience at a time

I usually see a post in the dis when the mailers have gone out
Ofher times I just go to the AP site to keep informed of Aph specials

I even emailed universal about not getting any notifications since I noticed others getting them on the dis, they said I was signed up to receive notices but I still didn't get them. I finally just changed my email to my gmail account since there seems to be a problem with aol mail. Now I'm getting non-APH emails from them at least...we will see when the APH RSVP nights for HHN come...should be any day now.

They tend to suck at getting early notices, emails etc out. Been like that for years.

I never got them either. I just always went to the passholders' site as well.

Happened when we were WDW and DLR passholders as well.
