Dream Big Princess Competition win

Just wanted to share my news some of you will already know from Facebook
Well I entered the competition earlier this year and forgot all about it.
Had an email last week to say I was a winner :)
Nothing is ever straightforward though and the win was for 2 adults and 2 children, my kids are a!l grown up but I wanted to take my nephew (9) and niece (13) a!ong with mum (my sister). So I have been in touch with them and my last email said send us all the documents asap, so I have fingers and toes crossed that they'll authorise it. I've offered to pay any additional costs incurred because my niece will need an adult pass and food vouchers and the event is her birthday weekend too so hoping for lots of Disney magic to make this happen for her. But trying not to get too excited in case they say it's not possible.

Woo hoo congratulations!!! Hope they are understanding, I think it would be really unreasonable if they're not, it's like your niece is a grown adult.
 
Thanks for the lovely comments I haven't had an actual yes or no, but did get an email to ask if I was happy with the flight times from my regional airport or if I wanted them to check at my 2nd and 3rd choice airports.
Getting hard not to get excited about it :)
 
Ooh that does sound hopeful! It's always nice to hear of people winning competitions but soooooooo much better when it's someone we 'know'! :flower1:

It was on the Disney website and I think it was choose the correct answer, which I think was Rapunzel. I enter occasional competitions and forget about them .lol
 
Just a quick update, the trip has been booked, no mention was made again about my niece's age. I've got my reservation numbers and flight information and today my VEA shuttle tickets arrived. So we're all set to go, bit of a hiccough yesterday as my nephew was rushed into hospital and ended up having his appendix removed. Key hole surgery so he's home again today, a little sore but the doctors assured him that he will still make the trip -phew he would've been devastated if he couldn't come. So we're hoping for a speedy recovery and we're flying out a day earlier, Disney were concerned that our flights were late and we'd miss most of the Friday, so I suggested a Thursday flight and said I would book a hotel, (in the end I decided to book SL for convenience) and they agreed. We don't get details of the special event until check in, can't wait :)
