What is something that you want to do....

For my trip with my daughter next year, I have so many things on my list! It's a Princess Trip where we're going all out, so I'm planning on spoiling both of us rotten :D. Pick a Pearl, Disney Pandora charms, BBB, tea parties, the works.

That sounds like so much fun!

That sounds like so much fun!

It's been in the works for two years, I'm so excited it's coming up! And just in the last few weeks, a friend and her daughter have decided to join me for the vast majority of the vacation - and her daughter and my daughter are friends (as much as 3 year olds can be friends), so that makes me anticipate it that much more.

I don't mean this to get dark, but resent horrible events have made it so. Long before the aligators incident I had an idea for some good natured fun on our upcoming stay at PoR. I was going to get a Styrofoam aligators head (they sell these to keep birds out of your pond) and a small cheap rc boat.

Maybe you can see where this is going. An aligator head i can drive up and down the river, the pool, fountains, etc...

Up until last month I figured worse case scenario, they make me cut it out. Now I don't dare. I think it would get me a lifetime ban.

I have my "Disney Bucket List" in my signature. For those who can't read the small font:
  • Eat at V&A
  • Camp at The Fort for Halloween
  • Stay at WL
  • Eat and drink around the world at Epcot
  • Go the water parks
  • Be at MK open-close
  • Go to Disneyland

I have always, always, always wanted to stay at the Polynesian, and we're doing it on our trip this month!

This will be our first trip with teens old enough to spend some time by themselves (together, but without us!), so I am looking forward to wandering the world showcase with dh for the first time since our honeymoon!

1. Breakfast & Dinner at 1900 Park Fare
2. Cinderella's Royal Table Meal
3. Fireworks Cruise
4. Pick A Pearl
5. Wild Africa Trek

So far, I think I'm doing all of these 5 things in April. I also want to stay at a Deluxe Resort one day, but that's not happening any time soon. :)

Pick A Pearl has been on my list for AGES!!
-Wild Africa Trek!
-Eat at Artist Point!
-Stay at the Boardwalk
-8hr backstage magic tour
-Rent a boat on the lagoon!
-Fishing excursion
-Stormalong bay (i know you have to stay at bc/yc, i've stayed at both and somehow never gotten in the pool...)
-Pirates fireworks cruise
-Wishes Dessert party
-Run a disney race!

Some new things I would recommend would be go on Soarin to see the new Movie it use to be just to Disneyland but now it all around the world and the transitions are really cool, it is like a plane ride. 1st row is the best to watch it in. I would also recommend going to see the Jungle book show in Animal kingdom. Some people did not like it, but I liked it. There are dancers and it was on the water so they had 4 guys on floats juggling with stick that had fire on both ends that was cool. I like the singers that sang the song and see the band and with the dancers. I would also recommend see the Chinese acrobatics in like November when it is no so hot because it is outside and you are sitting or standing on the ground in the sun. The lion king show in Animal Kingdom is great. It has people in the show and they have cool dances and it is a really nice show to watch and it is INSIDE WITH AIR CONDITIONING. The new castle show with the characters on stage in front of the castle is fun! I love the Star Wars fireworks too! They are not just fireworks it like a show. That is in Hollywood studios and they are only at certain time in the year u can check I don't know what the months or days are. But also like the Safari and they a night time safari and it is cool and kind of creepy but there is other people and the animals are really active at night they have spotted dogs that are really cool at night. Can't take as much pictures but it a really good experience. Disney put in a special thing at night so it looks like sunset. But those are only some things I would recommend. Lots more. Hope you try all these magical experiences! Have magical time! I would also go to fantastic with water with a movie and it is like a story but is awesome show!

We are doing SO many new things this time! Like... everything, more or less. Just eating at one restaurant we've been to 20 years ago

- using FP
- non-EPCOT fireworks (illuminations is awesome, but it's not our first time)
- using magic bands
- going to GF -and STAYING there!
- staying on the monorail
- ADRs - inc BOG, a character meal, afternoon tea, and another (not highlight-of-the-trip-planning) place we've never been
- going with kids!
- Meeting Mickey (for DS), Tink (for me), Princesses (for DD), and Mary Poppins (for my mom, though I don't think she's interested in character meets)
- Dole whip
- Club Cool
- most of our FPs are for rides we never went on/didn't exist last time (if a line was long, we found something else to do, with the exceptions of TSM and SE)

I've been to DW many, many times growing up and a few times when my son was little but it's probably been 10 years since I've been and every time it was on a one day park hopper ticket. This time we will get 4-5 days park hopper tickets and we are now a family of 6.

A few months ago I started thinking about my daughter's 5th birthday and how I had planned to take everyone to celebrate in 2018. Until then, I had no clue I had been missing so much. I want to do everything I didn't know I was missing out on. Since I can't do everything, some of my top choices would be...

Cinderella's Royal Table. I need to see inside the castle. I need my daughter to spend time there as a princess, surrounded by princesses.

Getting off the monorail in Contemporary. Seems dumb but it fascinated me as a child and never had a sensible reason to as a broke young mom. I'm thinking Chef Mickey's is a good excuse now.

Get MM. I'd like a ton of pictures that we are all in as well as ones of the kids I don't have to dig my camera out for.

I'd love to be the family of the day. I think the experience would be amazing.

I want to take time to look around, not rush from ride to ride.

There are also things I didn't know about that sound like fun. Sorcerer's Quest, Mickey's Pirate Adventure, Young Explorers.

Here's our list:
Pick a Pearl
Tequila flight @ Mexico
Basin @ GF
Massage @ GF (DH made an appointment for me so I get some kid free time and I can't wait!!)
Club Cool (the kids don't have soda as a rule, so i don't know if this will be a great idea or the worst ever!)
Wish in the wish book
Drink/eat around the world @ EPCOT
Food & Wine festival

There's more on our long term list but this is our list for this trip. :) Ok, so those last 2 probably won't happen this trip... I'm trying to convince DH to stay a few extra days.

On our next trip I want to:
-Go to Trader Sam's
-Eat to Be Our Guest
-Visit AbracadaBar
-Visit Jock Lindsey's Hangar Bar
-Eat at Morimoto
-Get some goodies from Erin McKenna's Bakery

On our next trip, I want to:
Visit AKL (definitely scheduling this!)
Take the boat from POR to DS instead of the bus (have to convince DH on this, he's afraid of the water!)
See a fireworks show - we aren't night people and haven't stayed at a park long enough to see them, maybe now that DS will be 15 on our next trip!

Behind the Seeds, Keys to the Kingdom, Africa Trek, Dine with an Imagineer, and the tea party and afternoon tea at GF!

Hmmmmmm for me

stay at WL
do the 8 hr behind the magic tour
ride all the mountains with my DS (too little only 16 months right now)
stay at CR
dine at Chefs Table at V&A's
see new lands

for DW

Wild Africa trek

...on your next trip that you have never done at Disney?

I have a few, since we've only been a couple of times.

I want to go see the Wilderness Lodge.
I want to get a margarita at Epcot's Mexican pavilion.
I want to pick a pearl from the Japan pavilion.

What's something new that you're looking forward to?

I've done all 3 of yours... Good choices lol

I really can't think of anything right now. I've been very lucky to stay n visit many many times...
Oh... I'd love to stay overnite in the castle.. Does that count??
