With all the construction, when are you going?

We usually skip AK and HS is typically only a half day park for us, so the construction at those two parks doesn’t affect our planning at all.

Doesn't impact us. We will be going back to WDW this December, then again in September or October of 2017 for the Halloween Party, and then again in January of 2018 for our 10th anniversary.

We don't really care about the construction, but we are happy that new stuff will be open when we return for Thanksgiving 2017.

No impact for me. We went this summer and going next summer...but then probably not again until Star Wars land is done.

If you wait for the construction to end you will never go. We decided that we would just keep going every November regardless of construction. Next November I turn 60!!!!

1 stage show, a meet and greet and a quick service is all that really closed at Hollywood (well I guess pizzafari also but the food wasn't good so I don't count that). If your into star wars, it's the park to head too right now..

I completely get wanting to take a break, save up some money and do a nice trip when everything is built and functional. If I didn't just move here, I would be doing the same and probably aiming to come for a couple weeks for the 50th.

We got married in WDW in 2010.
We brought our DS back again in 2011.
We will go again Christmas 2017.

And that will be our last trip. EVER.:sad::sad::sad::sad::sad::sad:

The construction has not impacted this.

Why Ever? That sounds so permanent I don't think I could make a statement like that about anything because who really knows what 10 years, 20 years down the road might look like? You son could get a job at Disney as an adult and you could be back?

We were just at Disney this summer and are not planning on returning until June 2019. As much as we love Disney, we really want to travel to other places, too. We are hoping some of the new additions are done by 2019, but I'm not holding my breath.

Going in Nov/Dec and planning our next trip in Sept of next year.

So, no, closing Lights, Motor, Action and Backlot Tour, didn't effect us at all.

*I* could be back, my son could also be back, my daughter too. But, their father is taking us on this BIG blowout last trip as he has Chronic Leukaemia, and won't be well enough to travel so far again...So WE will never all go together again.

I'm so sorry

Sorry to hear that chronic lymphocytic or myeloid leukemia is pretty draining, I'll keep your family in my prayers! Hope you make magical memories next year

Construction has zero impact on our trips. We go when our budget and schedules allow. We made 2 trips there while Fantasyland was under construction. We've made at least 2 trips while Avatarland/Pandora has been under construction. I can't think of any trip that didn't involve some type of major construction.

I will say that even though our recent trip in June was booked almost a year ago and the dates were chosen based on work and school schedules, the timing ended up being perfect. The Jungle Book show had been running a few weeks when we arrived. The new Star Wars night time show started a few days before we arrived. The new Soarin' movie started a few days before we arrived. Frozen Ever After opened the day after we arrived. Our timing -- though not really planned -- was perfect. That will probably never happen again.

It doesn't impact our plans at all. Our trip is a week from tomorrow and we plan on going back in the Fall next year, and I am looking at a possible solo trip for February.

We were an annual family. Last trip was 11/14. Skipped 2015 b/c there was nothing new and we were burnt out. Next week we have a WDW/dcl combo trip. Yay! Prob won't be back for several years after this as we will wait for some new things to open and visit other places.
2017 plan is DCL/DL. Maybe do Alaska dcl in 2018. So prob 2019 back to WDW.
