Just wanted to let who ever is interested know that if you weren't able to get a Beauty and the Beast handbag last week because a few people were ordering them just to sell on Ebay for $100 + more than what they originally cost to keep trying. My wife was able to order one Wednesday of this week. You will probably have to call because they aren't showing up online. She has been waiting months to get one and literally tried to order from the website 2 hours after they were released and they were already sold out. I just think it is ridiculous when people buy them just to try to make money on ebay !!

Even with D&B, who I love, I would never buy a purse off line. I need to see it and touch it and see how it looks on me before deciding if I want it or not. Unfortunately, as long as people will buy them off Ebay for more than they cost retail, people will continue to buy them to sell them.
Well... those purses won't be available in the parks and it doesn't seem to bother a lot of people since they sold out in a matter of a couple of hours. I just want everybody that may be interested to keep trying so they won't get screwed by people selling on ebay .

Sadly Disney does mid seem to care about stopping the eBay scalpels.

It's nothing new. Every high end release with limited stock is bought and resold by people. All about supply and demand. Being available for a couple hours before selling out is a pretty decent amount of time if it's a popular item
Try being like me and being into sneakers..soon as their released their sold out. Sold out in seconds. Then tons of pairs sitting on eBay for people to make a profit.
It's nothing new and it'll always continue if there's people willing to pay more than retail to have whatever the item is. It's happens with plenty of Disney stuff since a lot of their stuff is limited and popular. Last year I wanted the Osbourne Lights Christmas ornament or Osbourne AP Christmas shirt..of course both were sold out in the parks by the time I got there and were priced too high for my liking on ebay

FYI, I bought a haunted mansion Dooney a couple years ago and noticed tonight that it's TEARING at the bottom corners. Could ignore the color flaking off, but the actual ripping of the fabric not so much. They're awfully pricey bags to not hold up for more than a couple years. 
I've contacted Dooney about a repair, but haven't heard back yet.

Same here. I want to see the placement, and I just can't buy one not knowing what the pattern is going to look like. If Disney doesn't sell them in the parks, I won't buy one.
So glad the OPs wife was able to get one though. I had to delete my app. It wouldn't work.
