I don't believe Disney ever sells a contract without all the current UY points (not even sure if they can legally). That doesn't mean they can't exercise ROFR though (they do seem to take stripped low priced contracts too sometimes)

That's how they're always sold when you buy direct. You immediately get the current UY points. Now, they could take your contract and sell a 150 point contract (or combine it with others for a bigger one, or sell six 25-points contracts or whatever combination they want), but they'd still have a few that would have to carry over to next year. The excess could be sold as one-time-use points, but that's about it. If the contract has FULL points, they can flip it and get it off the books much more quickly and easily.

In other words, it's not a guarantee, but having a contract that's not totally "clean" definitely makes it at least marginally less appealing as a buyback target.

UPDATE! Woooohoooo! We passed Rofr yesterday sept 9th , 17 days from submitted to passes that's wonderful!

Just got the email, we passed! Disney waived ROFR!! Can not explain my level of excitement! sent 8/1, found out 8/24!~

I'm getting excited to see that responses are coming back for early August submissions. My OKWext went in on 8/8 so I should be hearing soon. Keeping my fingers crossed. It was a loaded contract so I'm a little scared. :

Mine was submitted 8/9 so I'm hoping to hear soon, as well. I know it's still early but I'm now checking my email obsessively! Good luck to you!

They took my OKW within a week (sent 8/16, taken 8/22). I don't know if my assumption is correct, but the fact that they are taking their time with yours probably mean it may be a borderline case where it may pass. Good luck!
