Is there a group for room shares?

I've been on 4 solo trips in the last several years and have 5 short solo trips planned in the next 7 months. I'm going through a divorce so trying to save some money but I definitely want to stay on property. I was wondering if there are any facebook groups or threads on here about solo travelers wanting to organize room shares? I have not found anything but a random post here and there.

I am comfortable and happy traveling and doing Disney alone so it's not really a travel buddy I'm looking for but definitely open to making Disney friends if it works out. Just no pressure on that. I prefer being on property due to convenience but I'm rarely in the room so was thinking maybe it would be possible to share the cost with someone. If we get along and want to hang out that's fine but going our separate ways is fine too!

My next trip is September 13-16th. I'm planning to mainly just do the Food and Wine Festival and the Halloween party. I currently have POFQ booked on a passholder rate of like $150 but I'm open to staying anywhere on property. The trip after that is November 4-7 for the Wine and Dine 10k and half marathon. I'm booked at All Star Music at $110 for that but open to anywhere on property. If anyone is going either of those dates and interested in room sharing please let me know!

About me:
I live in Destin, Florida. I do photography and floral design. In my free time I like to run, paddle board and go scuba diving. Epcot is my favorite park. I've been known to sometimes spend more time wandering the resorts than the parks though. I love F&W and F&G festival and tend to circle Epcot over and over and over during those times.

I have always really splurged at Disney (and still will to some extent) but need to tame it a bit now so if anyone has seen any room share groups they can point to let me know. If not maybe I should start one!

Great idea. I'm there in September the 11-15th at Pop Century (with a friend as opposed to solo this time), but have the hookup for the Boardwalk in January and would love to split the cost.

Hey Sarah, are you still looking for a roommate for the Wine and Dine Half Marathon Weekend? I am coming from South Florida and will have my own car but don't want to worry about parking the morning of the race or the after-party. I will also be there November 4-7. Let me know!

Oh by the way, I am 31, teach high school English, love to read, am a slow runner/not too heavy lifter, and am currently obsessed with Hamilton. And Beauty and the Beast is my favorite Disney movie while Ratatouille is my favorite Pixar.

I think this is a great idea also - I'm getting a season pass at the end of the month and I would love to find someone to share with for a few short trips to save on costs.

I'm sorry I didn't see this sooner,... would have loved to have a roommate. How did the race go for you?
