Where to play mini golf?

We are looking for a good place to play mini golf one night. We are staying at Bonnet Creek and we are 2 adults. We have a car and it doesn't matter if it's outside of Disney.

Our favorite mini golf experiences have been (in order of best to worst....though none have been what I would class as bad):

Congo River (both the I-Drive and Kissimmee locations are great)

Hollywood Drive-in Golf (at Universal Citywalk)

Pirates Cove (we preferred the I-Drive course to both the Crossroads and Kissimmee locations)

Hawaiian Rumble (I-Drive)

Gator Golf (I-Drive)

Volcano Island (also on I-Drive)

If price is your biggest concern, Gator Golf is currently on Groupon and would be your cheapest price point. For quality and overall experience, definitely Congo River, Hollywood Drive-in, or Pirates Cove.

Thanks Gina that's great! After reading a couple of your trip reports I should've known you would know where to go. Linda :)

Bonnet Creek has free mini golf. Basic, but a good way warm up for a round at a fancier course later.

The closest to WBC would be the Disney mini-golf courses, Winter Summerland and Fantasia Gardens. Both are about a 5-10 minute drive.

If you want to drive a bit, Universal Citywalk has two mini golf courses.

Fantasia Gardens and Winter Summerland are two of the best places, and both are minutes from WBC. They are on the pricey side, being Disney owned, but they also usually tell you your receipt is good for 25% off if you return the next night.

For more generic mini-golf experiences, the Pirates Cove or Congo River places are not bad, but you can find those all over the United States, so I don't find them anything special.

If you bought Disney UK tickets then one round per day of minigolf is included for free before 4pm.

We liked Winter Summer land (near Blizzard Beach) as it was fun with interesting theming and obsticles. But we also played Pirate Adventure (not far from Downtown Disney) and enjoyed it too, despite not being as heavily themed. Next time i want to try Drive-In at Universal.
