Universal In November--Couple Questions

We are getting the (3) day ticket deal that was emailed by Universal. We will be at Disney BWV, but plan on using all (3) days of tickets at Universal. A couple of questions:

1. Is it worth getting some type of Quick Service Dining Plan for the days we are at Uni? Probably won't eat dinner there, but we will need lunches/snacks.
2. Any parking deals or reduced parking areas?
3. Is Hulk finished--or are there any other fall closures?
4. We have AAA and I read that we get 10% discount at several dining locations?

Any other advice is appreciated. We have been to Uni a few times in the past, but admittidly do not know it as well as Disney.

Garage parking does not have discounts but those with the annual pass , preferred and premium, are allowed free parking

Counter service plan is worth it if you buy one of the more high end meals
A beverage is included with it
You get one snack and one beverage coupon to use within the next 14 days

You can save up to $6 overall

Thanks! Probably not worth getting the CS Plan then if the most we can save is $6. We'll try OP for this trip, and maybe the next one we'll try the plan.

The nice thing about the counter service plan at Uni is that you can buy it on the fly when it makes sense for you. When we were at Three Broomsticks for lunch, they recommended we buy two CS entitlements for the meal because it was the same cost as what we were buying anyway. By doing this, we each got a snack to use at some point during our trip as well, so it was worth the price in our case.

To get the AAA discount, you need to book thru them or purchase tickets. You get a paper to use for your discount.

Barb is correct

AAA changed last year with this policy

Just because you have AAA does not mean it will give you the discounts at UO

When you buy tickets from AAA or a package you receive a form letter as proof you are entitled for discounts of purchases of $50 or more in the parks/ city walk/hotels

Thank You. This must have just changed within the last few months or so. I hope I can still bring in my own soda and water do anyone know if that changed as well?

Policy is still the same

You can bring that into the park as long as it is not glass containors

It was likely AAA that changed this policy, not Universal. Its an incentive for people to book or purchase their Universal tickets through them, since they make commission on it. That being said, the AAA discount if you buy your tickets through them can be on par with Undercover Tourist so it may be worth it to get them through AAA for the discount card as well.

Nkereina is correct

It was AAA that did this change. Not UO

I have both AAA membership and AP UO

I used to use one of them for discounts at UO

When they made this change over a year ago, I just relied on my AP then
