SWA Flight seats together in OCT. from MDW to SNA.

Does anyone happen to know: WE have 4 of us going to DL in Oct. Fly in on Wed. Am, layover in MDW. I am flying from one city with hubs and his co worker who I personally can't stand. and my BFF is flying from her city and meeting us in MDW. I was wondering what chances are that we can get 2 sets of 2 seats so I can ditch guys and visit with my BFF on flight down. I don't care if I'm at front of plane and guys are at back of plane ( actually this would be my dream LOL). I believe we are all taking first flight out of our city but am sure it'll be a bit later ( ie not first flight out) flight out of MDW.

No way to be absolutely sure. But perhaps your dh and his coworker wouldn't mind switching seats. That way, you could all fly together in one row. Then when your BFF joins you, the guys could move and you friend could take one of their seats. Of course, that might mean that your dh won't get a seat with his coworker.

I believe we all have to get off our planes and sit in airport until next plane arrives, If it's just case of switching seats I'll be first one out of seat and moving, I am ditching guys one way or another once we get to IL. I'll survive from Ohio to IL with my ipod in my ears so I don't have to talk to or listen to them for the basically 25 min flight.

Wow sounds like a fun trip. Since you all have to replane at MDW, I can't see that you'd have an issue taking a seat with BFF while hubby sits elsewhere with the dreaded co-worker. It's open seating.

It will say on your reservation. I recently had a flight from PIT to PHX with a stop but no plane change in MDW; those of us who were staying on got to move up to the front, but there weren't that many. You will have a boarding advantage over anyone who is starting out in MDW because of checking in earlier for your first flight.

Well, duh. That would make sense!! Depending on how many people are already on the flight, you, or your friend, can get on and grab two seats. Yes, it's ok to save a seat! Dh and his coworker can fend for themselves.

Yes she brings good munchies too

and yes the guys are on their own cuz 7 days in hotel room with them will be enough for both us girls lol, and yes we priced out getting own room but it's cheaper to suffer.

Of course one room is cheaper than 2. But once I hit grownuphood I decided that that meant I wasn't going to share a room with anyone I didn't want to share a room with. I highly recommend getting a girls' room.

I'm with you. Coworker is so offensive, you can't sit near him on the plane but you're gonna spend a WEEK in a motel room with him???

I agree but sometimes we need to cut back to even do trip. We have a suite type room so it's cool, we will survive

More room in hotel and there is very little talking happening in room, pretty much crash and burn and showering. I don't know how to explain but he's just a thorn in my side, I could survive on plane but why should I have too,
