I am participating in the Lumier's challenge and 5k. I am going solo and I booked a room at pop but can modify it to a moderate. I'm looking for a roommate to help with the cost. I shared a room when I did the glass slipper challenge in february with someone and it turned out great and we saved lost of money so I was planning on doing it again for the November race.

Im also potentially looking for a roommate. I can get a passholder discount at some places. Was planning on being down from the 2nd to the 7th. Doing the challenge.

Hey is it too late to potentially room with at least one of you? I have not made any reservations as of yet but I do have a confirmed bib from the first day of registration. I am from South Florida and planning to arrive Friday evening to hopefully do bib pickup immediately upon arrival and enjoy a leisurely day at one of the parks Saturday. I would be departing Monday. Let me know if anyone is interested. BTW, I'm also a lady!

What area of South Florida are you from? I'm a Jersey girl but my parents are building and becoming snowbirds. I ended up grabbing a campsite and just checked what else was all still available and the cheapest option is a cabin at $341/night. Do you see anything different on your end?

Hey @KatDiPaolo , I'm from Miami. I just placed a reservation and deposit for the Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek where the price is comparable to the Disney Value resorts (approx. $200 with taxes) but the amenities are really nice like the Disney Deluxe. Most important, they have shuttles to and from the race and the after-party on Sunday. Let me know if you want more info.

Ah, my parents will be gulf side in Punta Gorda. They're pressuring me to make a move... lol. Anyway, if you're still looking, I'd be down for a roommate and to get rid of my campsite for some of those nights. I don't think you've been on here long enough to get messages, but if you're on Facebook, my first name is Katrina (not Kat). I'm 29, live just outside Trenton NJ and I'll be running the challenge. I did my first challenge back in April for Star Wars and I'm looking forward to doing another. I'm a turtle of a runner though, about 13 minute miles.
