Gold Annual Pass/Photo Pass

So, I have a Gold Annual Pass and we took a trip in June with extended family. I was thinking that with the photo pass, I could download pictures of any of my friends/family and be able to print them off. I can see many family pictures, but there are quite a few I can't see. For example, all the kids stood in line for pictures with a character - I can see my own daughter's picture with the character, but not the other kids. My nieces say they can see them, but I can not. Any ideas of what I'm doing wrong?

It sounds like you friends have their own MDE account and did not 'share' with you.

Before the trip, I was able to make fast passes for them and we were friends/family then. Also, there is one picture of two of them on Expedition Everest that no other family members were in - so I'm seeing at least one picture, just not all of them.

So confused!!!

I read that they changed it and weren't supposed to allow you to have all of them initially. Let me try and find the website I found it on. BUT I haven't found any consistency with that info on the DIS so I'm hoping the website I read was wrong.

I am pretty annoyed if it ends up true because the PP people always scan my 2 year olds bands because she's cute. Well she obviously doesn't have an AP.

If they accepted your invitation to share you should be able to see them, maybe call Disney. Good luck!

Did you check the box that says that this person can share and purchase your photos? It's in the friends and family settings.

I was just looking to see their names in our Friends & Family list, but you were right the check box for share and purchase photos wasn't checked. What is weird is I was able to see all the pictures before, but all of a sudden I couldn't. All of them said they hadn't messed with MDE since we left Disney in June - so don't know why all of a sudden it changed for everyone? Oh well, thanks for your help.

I got a Premium AP last December, got pictures from that trip. In May, I went with friends and linked them to my account. When I downloaded my pictures, I had pictures from my friend's trip with her son last October. She a cm and got in free so she didn't have an AP. I emailed them to her.

Your Friends & Family all need to mark in their MDE that you can view and purchase their photos. Otherwise you shouldn't be able to see or download their photos.
