Is there an easier way to book Dining reservations?

I am trying to book dining reservations for my upcoming trip in September. I am calling from Canada so that took me some time to figure out how to work out the number combination. When I called to book, no one picked up. I believe my timing was okay for calling. Is there a trick to all of this. Is there a central number I can call instead. Appreciate your help. Wish we could book online instead ... so much easier.

if you have a phone number for Walt Disney World in Florida, call that. Then ask to be transfered to the Disneyland Paris Dining Reservations. If they refuse, dont argue, just hang up and ring back. Dont let them tell you its not possible, they either dont know how to do the international transfer or dont want to do the international transfer.

France is 6 hours ahead of New York, 9 hours ahead of LA. :)

Making dining reservation is no easy task… if only they could provide us with a website like at WDW…

I would advise to try calling again and again, and as soon as you have someone, do not hesitate to perform all your bookings at once, and take the time you need! CMs are hard to reach but know a lot of stuff to make your experience better.

You have to call 0033 1 60 30 40 50
It is the English hotline and you should be put through wirh no issues. Normally it does not take more than a few minutes to make reservations.

I called WDW, but couldn't get transferred easily. I got transferred to the CA Disneyland res line, then back to WDW. In the end, I called the UK line and it was much quicker.

Another option, if you have one of the Visa Signature cards that include a concierge service, is to have them make the reservation for you. I always thought it was a silly service, because why would I bother to call someone to make a reservation for me when I could just do it myself, but it really came in handy when trying to make reservations half way across the world in a country where I don't speak the language all that well...

@jrtoastyman thamks for the tip, I would never had thought about that. I thought credit card concierges only booked service they could sell. Do Visa charge for using this service? (Outside of the card fees, of course)

I had no problems getting transferred to DLP.

I just call WDW, and when the automatic menu comes up on the line, they will ask you what do you want to do. I just tell "Disneyland Paris", and I get automatically transferred there. No need to ask anybody.

And because the call comes from American line - I assume, - any time I called they had English-speaking person on the line.

Sorry, just seeing this. There is no charge for using the service at all -- there isn't even a requirement that you use your Visa to ultimately pay for it. It is really a distinct service entirely.

Would you recommend dining reservations for dinner? My husband and I are visiting for the first time next month and haven't nailed down a time/place for our meals but if you recommend that I do, I will. Thanks!!

Same day dining reservations are definitively recommended. While availability is probably to be found at every restaurants, be prepare to eat early/late if you haven't made an ADR.

Don't forget to benefit from the fact that ADR are free, and can be conveniently made/cancelled from any restaurants. If you're not so sure and sill hesitate between two restaurants, I would recommend making those two reservations, then when you pick your place, ask the greeter at the entrance to cancel your other reservations (although nothing will happen if you do not, it's nice to free the booking in case another guest needs it at this time)

that really depends on the restaurant and the crowd level. Some places always need a reservation, like Chez Remy in The Studios, the Princess Dining at Auberge de Centrillion in Fantasyland and the character buffet Inventions in Disneyland Hotel. Some places like Walts on Main Street USA and Blue Lagoon in Adventureland, its advisable to to get a reservation. Manhattan Restaurant in Hotel New York is another restaurant thats really nice that often gets overlook.

I always make restaurant reservations, even when I go in a low crowd time as I find it helps me plan my day.

You can also make reservations when you get to Disneyland Paris, either at your hotel reception or at Town Hall in the park.

I definitively support your advice about the Manhattan restaurant. It's one of the easy-to-miss golden spots DLP has to offer! (Although my last experience there was a disaster so big that we found out several weeks later that CMs at other restaurants heard about what happened to us and still remembered, but that's another story!)

OK - just finished my call. I did call the WDW number and said Disneyland Paris and they connected me to Disneyland Paris reservations. Process took about 5 minutes. I highly recommend North Americans doing this than trying to connect to any other number overseas yourself.

It was so easy. Lots of dining availability though for when I am going in September, but I still like to have that reservation just in case. Thanks for all your help!
