About when should I be able to make a Reservation?

Hi Everyone

Another question to ask. We are waiting for ROFR to go through right now. About how long after that should we expect to have to wait until we can make a Reservation. Just curious. So far the process has been relatively fast with the Broker (Fidelity) and the Seller (who happens to live in England). My wife and I want to make a resize as soon as possible. Trying to figure out a timeframe.

Thanks
Kyle

Everyone is slightly different. We passed ROFR in 22 days. Currently waiting on membership number and we are at 75 days total since we submitted our offer. I hope to have it in the mail sometime this week and be able to make a reservation.

Our experience was that it took about three months from our offer being accepted to being able to book.

I passed ROFR on May 31st...my account was opened July 16, and I got the letter from Disney with member number on July 22. So basically about a week shy of two months after ROFR.

With that said, once your account is open, you can dial 1-800-800-9800 and hit option 1 to get to member services...and occasionally they will give you your club id and activation code, which is what you actually need to login to the DVC webpage. In other words, you might not need to wait for the actual letter to arrive, since the membership number on that piece of paper does nothing.

Got home and the membership number was waiting for us in the mail. We were able to activate our account and book our first stay at BWV for May. 75 days from start to finish.

Thanks everyone for the replies. They have really helped. My wife and I are trying to go away for February vacation and every day waiting is one less chance of getting a unit. Hope all goes well. If not then we just go next summer. Thanks again
Kyle
