Plaza Inn character breakfast

Something else to consider is that you might not see every single character that is out. They seem to be less methodical in their rounds than they are at WDW character meals.

I have this vision of them having 5 CMs working, and a room full of character costumes in back, and they come out, tour half the restaurant in one costume, then go change and tour the rest of the place in another. ;)

When we saw Suzy and Perla, I never saw both of them touring at the same time. I'm just saying....... :p

I will say, though, on our November trip Eeyore hadn't come around to us. There was a character handler somewhere in the Plaza, and we just mentioned that we hadn't seen Eeyore yet and they did help make sure Eeyore came over to us. He was the only one we hadn't seen.

We've had good luck with that too, but sometimes the character goes on break and a different one comes out instead. The character handler helped us stalk...... I mean find ;) the penguin on our last visit. On our trip a few years ago, Fairy Godmother skipped over us so I asked the handler to see if she could get her over before we left. She was so appreciative of the fact that we asked her instead of just trying to find her ourselves in the restaurant. I think they have a problem with that there.

I agree..I think my parents may have actually suggested just going to find Eeyore, and I said the handler would take care of us and it would work out better that way. I can definitely see the Plaza having a problem with that.

I'd call Pooh a semi-regular. Sometimes he's there, sometimes he's not. But every time we've gone, we've had Chip & Dale, Eeyore & Tigger, and, of course, Minnie.
This seems to sum it up. With the Winnie the Pooh characters, we always get at least one, but I don't think we've had all three at once? I think we've had Tigger every time, and Pooh at least 2 out of 3 times. Eeyore maybe once? Lots of Fairy Godmother.

Last time Minnie was on a break during the intro photo, so then they tried to sell us the photo, but it was just us standing on the veranda, no character. So that was a little disappointing.

On the whole though, this is my favourite character breakfast.

I think "standing on the veranda" is the only photo they do there. Even when Minnie is out and about.

Um, so.. when were there in May, no Minnie. However, there was Minnie in early December, and again early February.

Thanks for the report! I would love to have Minnie in a nice photopass shot here sometime.

Interesting, b/c Minnie was out on our visit too, but she was not in our picture. She wasn't standing for pictures with anyone. She was just inside milling around.

We've never got a picture on the porch with Minnie, it's always just us.

A BIG problem! The number of times we've had OUR character interaction at our table interrupted by pushy parents trying to get at a character rather than asking for the character to come to them... It happens at least once every time we're there.

Like Mom2rtk I think that the same CM will change costumes. That was exactly the thought I've had. And I have seen people hounding the characters. Going first thing in the morning seems to be a bit better since there are fewer guests.

Well, I guess we will just have to keep our fingers crossed that Pooh is there.. especially if he won't be anywhere else during our visit. My little guy looks like Pooh Bear and I want their picture together so bad!! Although I am planning on having him wear his Pooh costume for the meal, so I suppose pictures of him as Pooh with Tigger and/or Eeyore would be pretty adorable, as well.
Not from the plaza (actually from crystal palace in MK) but yes ds dressed as pooh meeting the other pooh characters is awesome!

Weird! Maybe we just got lucky. I remember thinking with the last one that it was crappy they still took our photos when Minnie wasn't there. Before I had done Goofy's, and they had an area where you took a photo with Goofy, so I assumed it was the same routine since it was the Minnie breakfast. Guess I'll find out in December if we get to take our photo with her.

Fun fact - at Goofy's Kitchen sometimes Pluto is the one who greats you instead of Goofy :confused3

LOL! We had to ask Fairy Godmother which mouse she was! :)
LOL. One time we went we saw Perla The next time we went, we saw the mouse and I said to my daughter to have Perla sign. Later when I looked at the book I saw she had written "Love Suzy! Come back again and be sure to visit with my sister Perla!" Oops!

We ate there last August. It was a Magic Morning, so there were parkgoers that entered with us. We were the second group into the restaurant. We saw Minnie, Eeyore, Fairy Godmother, Tigger, Rafiki, Pooh, Captain Hook, Dale and Chip. I don't know if it was an unusually slow morning, but the restaurant was only about half empty by the time we left. Characters came around more than once. At one point, Minnie, Hook and Pooh were sitting together at an empty table pretending to chat and have breakfast. It was that slow. We were out before the park opened for the regular day, so about 45 minutes.
