I have also used my phone to register without a problem but when it comes to AP registration I have to view the page in a private window because it won't load otherwise.

I would say don't go through the runDisney page use the link they post on Facebook, sometimes people post it on here too. Lately they have been using a virtual waiting room with a little man that walks across the screen don't refresh that page or you will lose your place in line.

Yes, when you click the link it takes you to a screen with a man running across don't refresh that screen(it says on it don't refresh). When he gets to the end then it takes you to the screen where you can pick which race you're registering for.

I've used my phone to register and never had a problem. I would just make sure you have a good internet connection and not spotty wifi/data. I'll be using my phone again next week.
 


Thanks for all the feedback on using my phone ladies! I'm going to see how training goes Monday and when we take lunch. I can use data or I'd have to go to one of the nearby fast food places for wi fi. I thought about bringing my computer and taking it in to McDonalds or Dunkin Donuts to register as they normally have pretty good wi fi. But I think I'll make sure my BRF has my info just in case!
 
Thanks for the tip about signing up for Active.com ahead of time. I think my wife is all set to register next week! We're going to be on vacation, so I'm a little nervous, but I figure with the DVC head start, she should be in good shape.

I've registered twice from my phone. Only problems I've had is the run disney page not loading and having to find the link elsewhere. but that happens on the computer too.

For AP registration you'll need to go through the AP page, so I would test it out on your phone in advance. As others have said, you'll likely need to use an incognito or private window, never seems to load in a regular one. Good Luck!
 


Joining in because if I can't make it to the Princess Weekend (and considering I have to wait a while for my budget to settle before I can register, it's looking like it'll probably sell out!) then I'm definitely in for this one!

Wow. Didn't think the TAs would get theirs until after AP sales.

Coworker convinced me to do the challenge instead of just the 10k. I'm not as nervous now about getting in as I was before since I think the challenge will take a little longer to sell out.

Yeah I don't know what to expect this time. It seems like things are slowing down, I was surprised to learn the challenge is still open for Wine & Dine. But they just announced real medals for the 5k so that might boost some interest in the 5k this time. I guess we'll find out soon!

The real medals certainly made me consider adding the 5k onto the run list. With the Challenge, though, I'll pass on the 5k for now. Don't want to overcommit.

I have thought things were slowing down, but W&D was still kind of crazy and sold out, but then they've randomly opened up the challenge spots as well, even though it was sold out. So it's either going to be super crowded at W&D or something happened with a travel provider? But I still hope registration is less stressful.

So does this mean that all the 5K medals will be metal now going forward. That does make adding the 5K tempting! (But my bank account is shaking it's head no!)

Yes to 5k metal medals! It should be interesting to see how/if the races sell out. I think we'll add the 5k on, but we'll register for the Challenge first. Yeah, bank accounts sure don't like registration days!!

Yeah, I registered earlier this week for the challenge through a club, so I'm all set! I was surprised about that, but I decided to just do it since I don't know what my schedule will look like the next few weeks.

Yeah I totally agree. Did they make you buy a ticket? The email I got said if your an AP call and they will give you your options for the ticket and I was curious what they were.

Nope, I did it through a running club of sorts, so my only extra was the $20 higher fee (which apparently gets me a swag bag) and my membership fee I paid last year.
 
Can anyone who ran the SWDS 10K and half last year tell me how they caught up with family and friends at the end of both races since the finish is in WSPNWWS?
