Breakfast at BUF

We have never flown out of BUF early in the morning. Our flight leaves at 8:45am. DH doesn't want to stay overnight so we will be leaving home at 5:30-5:45 latest to get to the airport for 7am. What are the breakfast options at BUF (or vicinity)? I don't want to prep or bring breakfast in the car because we are going through Nexus so don't want to worry declaring anything. Kids will be a couple weeks of turning 5 and 3.

Which which is a good option. Made to order breakfast sandwhiches. Otherwise there is s coffee shop selling muffins, yogurt, danishes, fruit cups type of thing.

Across the street from the Airport there is a Tim Horton's and a McDonalds from the airport on Gennesse. Inside the airport there a few places as well.

I believe that there is a Denny's on Genesse, right next to Sleep Inn.

Which Wich for breakfast is delicious, we get it every time and sometimes a sandwhich for lunch to take as well depending on how long the flight is.

Thanks all for the suggestions so far. Depending on time, I am thinking Timmies or McDonald's might be good options (can we bring TimBits through security/TSA-Pre)? We tried Which Wich last year but for lunch on our way to DW and it was pretty good. Didn't know they did brekkie. So if we don't have time to grab before the airport we'll hit that up.

No food allowed through security. So best eat it before going through if time allows it. Otherwise, try the suggestions above inside the terminal.

I bring food through security all the time. Its liquid you cant bring through. One of is gluten free so i always bring homemade cookies & muffins with me and put them in ziplocs. I just take them out of my bag and put them in the bin to go through the scanner.

Be advised that they had something happen near the airport and everyone is on boil water advisory. So anything like juice that they have to add water too isn't available right now. If it can be boiled first then the restaurants are ok. Our flight out on friday that got cancelled ( thank you Southwest ) we went to the Denny's to figure out our next move and we couldn't get juice because it was from concentrate.

Thanks for the heads up. We don't head out for a few more weeks so hopefully everything will be ok. Otherwise, there's always bottled water/juice we can drink.

What time was your flight flight supposed to head out? We have a Friday flight with Southwest and I hope ours doesn't meet the same fate.

We always bring food through for early flights. My kids don't like any of the options at BUF excerpt wings at lunch and dinner. I'll often bring muffins and buy choc milk once through security

Southwest should be ok by then. They had a computer crash last week when they tried to update servers. We flew home them last night and it was business as usual. Last friday however was a mess. Luckily we were able to take Jet Blue and only be almost two days late to our vacation
