Photo pass + is back!

Thank you for the heads up! I was dreading either doing as many pictures in a day or having to buy five days worth of photos. So glad it's back!

Awesome!! I did email Disney, after our vacation in June, because it was to expensive, Disney did call and listen to our complaints. So happy, we are able to buy our pics, from June !!!!

I'm so glad it's back for a decent price! We'll be in the parks next week and I have been trying to decide if we should concentrate on photos for one day or bite the bullet and pay for 4 days. Now I don't have to decide.

Here today and photo pass plus is back at a price of $69.00 for a week of photos. So glad it is back, but sad that it was on the last day of our trip because we skipped taking the ton of photo pass photos we usually do because of the $40 per day price. Glad Disney listened to the complaints, but sad the change happened on our 4th day and we will be missing out on all our usual pictures.
Thanks so much for posting this!! I just went online and purchased it, but did not see any options for the $99 or $119 additions. You activate online or over the app, so maybe they will show up then.

Having it for 7 days instead of 5 works for us -- we're doing Goofy's Kitchen the day we leave, which is a non-park day, so glad we can get photos for that as well!

Now if they'd just bring back week-long tickets. :)

7 days of photos but you still only have the max option of a 5 day ticket without having to start new or do an AP, yes?

Not if you are an Aussie. We can get 10 day tickets. So happy this 7 day option is available, saves us trying to do a others mentioned and cram all the pics into one day.

So after checking it out, I am guessing you don't get sent the CD and voucher if you pre purchase, to swap the voucher for the photo card.

Does it all get sent to the app on your phone and you have to present your phone as you did the card? I am confused....Sometimes I really hate technology....lol

I was there two weeks ago! We only did one day of Photopass on our last day. I would have loved to have gotten the ride pictures from the first two days. Especially my Splash Mountain picture.

So glad this will be here for our next trip. Our last trip was shocking - we tried to squeeze all our photos into one day, but ended up with some we really loved on 2 more days, so ended up spending a fortune.

I am downloading the pics from our July 13-18 trip now.

You do not have to present your phone. They need full brightness usually to scan the phone pp codes and that drains the battery so badly. We just do the same as we used to do and get a plastic card the first day and present that each time and then at the end I input that code and the ride codes into my pp account. You can do that one the phone or the computer. There does not seem to be a pre-order incentive at this point. The price is the same and you do not have to take a voucher to get your card. Perhaps they will start that again at a later date, but just having a reasonable price for a vacation's worth of photos is deal enough for me. We don't particularly care about the borders or stock pics though I would spend time after each trip adding borders to all our photos. I didn't usually use them tho, so for us that is not a value lost.

We ended up with 147 photos from our recent trip...most were on one day, but there were enough on a second day that I was going to break down and buy those and I was going to add 1-2 parade shots and ride photos so that would have been apx $106 vs the $69 I just paid for way more photos. I am bummed that I paid for our dining package photos at Plaza Inn and truly those are a waste. There isn't even a character included. HA! Not sure what I was thinking there. It is just a a pic of the 4 of us crammed onto the balcony while we wait to go in the door. It was an impulse purchase that I would have preferred to get as an extra with the PP+, but such is life.

All in all, so grateful for this option to be back. We go again in February and will go back to stopping for a few PP pics each day as we pass a spot rather than plan our trip around getting photos all on a single day. Way more relaxing that way!

I'm so happy this option is back! We are only going for three days but paying for the whole week is cheaper than each day! We are going to a Halloween party too so I know I was going to end up buying at leadt one day of PP

Yes! I second the week long tickets. We used to get those and now have to get AP's. Grrrrr

The old photo pass was good for 14 days. It doesn't really have anything to do with the number of days you're in the park. Many people only go to Disney for 3 or 4 days but spend a week or more in SoCal. They could split up their park days and need to spread the photos out for a week. I'm really glad this option is back.

Based on this information "With these two new products, you can relive your Disneyland Resort vacation with access to all Disney PhotoPass photos in your account!" It sounds like those who have a trip longer than a week could pay for the $99 package and get all of their photos. Photos are usually good for 30 days. So if you went multiple times over a month period you could probably get all of those photos.

Ok, If I have this correct, the simple breakdown is:

For $69 you get downloads of all your photos taken within your "window", plus ride photos and dining photos (as long as they are in your window).
For an additional $30 (so $99 total) you get the above, plus a voucher for printed dining photo package (I'm guessing at only one venue?) and the gallery disc.
For another $20 (so $119 total) you get the above (but not the downloads, unless you provide your phone with app when purchasing) plus you get your photos on DVD.

Good catch! I wonder if that is the intent or if they will change the wording. If that is the intent, it becomes a much better value!

I think for the $119 you would get the downloads as well. That's always how they've done it in the past, plus the website specifies "Disney PhotoPass Collection + Disc." Digital downloads are included in the PhotoPass Collection.

That's odd. The $99 package includes one set of dining prints? It's $30 more than the $69 package, and aren't dining photos $30 to just buy them outright? Why bother?
