California Grill Lounge question

My soon to be DH and I will be on our honeymoon in wdw and have dinner reservations at California Grill. I saw there is a lounge off of the restaurant. Would we be able to hang out there after dinner or is that held for other diners? Thanks!

If there is space you can hang out there. But it is very, very small and often fills to capacity as the evening wears on. It will likely be the "luck of the draw".

We've never had a problem finding a place at the bar or at the adjacent lounge area, before or after a meal. It's a great bar with friendly staff!

The bar has exactly 18 chairs. The "lounge" is nothing more than 8 very small and very low tables smack dab in the middle of the restaurant.

About as unromantic as a lounge can get.

Both often fill to capacity anywhere near fireworks time, so there MIGHT be room after your meal--and maybe not.

Don't count on it.

If you're looking to stay for the MK fireworks - As long as you have your receipt you will be able to get back up to the restuarant to view the fireworks. Depending on the time of your dining reservation, I would recommend enjoying a drink over at Trader Sam's (Poly) afterwards!

We sat in the lounge both before and after our meal. We had sushi in the lounge before dinner and returned to the lounge after for coffee and dessert because we like our lounge server so much! It's a small lounge right in the middle of the restaurant across from the bar, not at all separated from the rest of the restaurant. As long as there's room you can sit there.
