4 medals and tumbler?

Has anyone who ran the entire running shorts series received their 4 medals and tumbler yet?

No we haven't. I saw on Facebook someone got her stuff Friday, lives in California. So, maybe next week, although it said 30 days after so would be July30/31ish.

I emailed RunDisney yesterday and just to put it out there here's the reply back I got just about 20 minutes ago

Thank you for your message regarding our Virtual Running Shorts.

We are so happy to hear that you participated in our first virtual event! Finisher medals are awarded to runners based on the honor system of having walked, run, or jogged a 5K distance during the time frame of your virtual race. Recently we have experienced a delay in shipping these medals and we apologize for the inconvenience this may cause you. We expect that most runners will receive their items by middle to late August 2016. For domestic Guests the items will be sent via United States Postal Service and for international Guests they will arrive via United Parcel Service. If you have not received anything by this time please respond to this message and a Cast Member will be happy to assist you further. We appreciate your patience and understanding. In the meantime, we have also been working with the appropriate Leadership so we may prevent this from happening in the future.

We hope you had a magical experience running and look forward to seeing you again for another runDisney event.

I signed up the first day it was offered... which feels like last year at this point. I haven't been real worried about it, but I have lost all excitement for it at this point.

I lost excitement for it as well for the most part, then I realized about the 130$ or so and being a cheap bas....err frugal, I dont like just throwing money away and went to investigate. I'm also working on my disney medal collection; basically trying to run each disney event atleast once, adding 4 more medals would be nice.

I dont blame you one bit. People deserve answers for sure. This thing has been a mess, and the people that are the most let down over this are the ones who paid the most.

Totally jealous over your tower of terror medal. I just got into running last fall. If that ever pops up again, I will be all over that one. Awesome collection too... thats a smart way to display them.

I understand about delays but I am very disappointed in the lack of communication from RD. Thanks for sharing your response from them.

^^pretty sure that tower of terror, expedition everest (night races) and jingle jungle are now defunct races, glad I got them while I could. I always figure you cant go wrong with picture wire for the bibs, and a 5$ curtain rod from target.

I am not impressed. We are in Canada so I'm guessing it'll be October before we receive them.

I printed bibs for my kids and planned to have them do the CC 5k run on our Aug 27 Fantasy sailing then surprise them with a medal at the end as they aren't old enough to officially participate.

I honestly don't know why I expected better from Disney.

Yea you are right. Ive seen rumors that they would bring back the tower of terror one after the park is overhauled, but now I am concerned there wont even be a tower of terror anymore. If they bring it back, I will be the first to sign up!

Not to derail the thread much, as you mentioned the ToT race probably end up turning into some guardians of the galaxy race.../sadface .... almost seems like disney doesnt like night races anymore either especially since wine and dine is now a morning race as well.

We're in Canada too. They are shipping by UPS. I'm worried about having to pay a hefty customs clearance charge. I've emailed them to ask about the dollar value for the medals they are noting on the shipping form.

I just assumed I'd have to cough up for the clearance, but it's not clear why there is a 'delay in shipping'.
