FYI for those wondering about electronic gift cards and the Cardpool guarantee. I recently emailed Cardpool to ask about this and here is the conversation:
Me: "If I buy an electronic gift card from Cardpool and find out the balance is zero or only partial of what I purchased within 100 days will you refund my purchase? Yes or No?"
Cardpool: "Yes we will refund within 100 days of purchase if no or partial balance is on the electronic gift card when you receive it on through e-mail.
If you have any further questions or concerns, please email us."
Now it took a little back and forth the get a straight(ish) answer. In the final response from above they wrote my name wrong and had a few weird grammatical errors that make me think there is some outsourcing going on here which could potentially make refunds difficult. Or maybe they're just on allergy meds today, those certainly increase my grammatical errorsAnyways I'm done purchasing and never ended up using them but I figured I'd pass along what I'd been told.
That's very interesting. I used to be very loyal to Cardpool and never had an issue with bad cards (I got lucky). I only stopped using them when I read the fine-print in their guarantee. I will probably shoot an email to support and see if they are consistent.
Here's the fine print I am talking about....
I didn't get a cancellation, but for a large purchase I did get a text on my phone to verify that I bought that many $ worth of GC. Once I texted with a confirmation, it got sent to my e-mail rather quickly. For a smaller amount, I didn't get the text - it just was sent immediately.

That's pretty darn specific! I never saw that. Just the purchase guarantee description on the website. That's super sketchy! I just tried my first purchase before I saw this (it's what I get for bragging about being "done" Disneyland 60th merchandise just went on sale and there went some of my vacation gift card money-lol). Well, I have the email in case anything goes wrong and I can use that to get my credit card company to reverse the transaction- fingers crossed those gift cards are full though! But that term is very specific so I'm gonna have to opt out of future purchases at Cardpool. Darn!
Battleborn for both systems is also $23 at GameStop and trades in at $25 at Best Buy
I'll post more credit movers from GS to BB whenever I see them. Sometimes the trade in values tank mid-day, so trade asap if you can.

Yes, a week ago, and it went as easily as the many times I've used those BB gc's bought thru ebay and then bought more ebay cards in store. I always am able to purchase the BB loadable $25-$500 gc's(almost always get $500), and never a question or anything. When I asked, the clerk said of course I could buy them, and she's usually the one checking me out, she's pretty awesome sales associate there. Anyway, all that to say the loadable cards can be purchases with the BB gc's in store, and been successful with either the Ebay ones or the Disney ones.

I looked at the ones at Ebay for sale. The red walgreens gc's thru SVM are the good ones, and do not say they can't be used for purchasing other gc's. The others were available thru private sellers and looked different. They were white and blue and said Walgreens in the white part, under that DUANEread(don't know what that it, lol), and under that in the blue on the bottom, it says 'store credit'. These can only be used in store, not online, and specifically says not for purchasing gc's, which it says on the receipt for them, as well. Not sure if that really helps in relation to buying them at places like cardcash or raise, but shows how they look different, and that the one points out they cannot be used for gc to gc, where as the actual gc does not say this at all on the card.
I looked at the cardcash walgreens page and it says in the listing 'get yours today and use it in-store at walgreens'. That sounds odd to me if it's a gift card, should be able to use online, but if it's like the store credit, you can't. For me, I'd not buy them there.
Very frustrated over my WGC's attempted delivery that I bought through the promo. Says they were to be delivered on July 25, and they attempted, but I had no idea they'd be thru Fed Ex and need a signature! So I missed that, and when I tried to make an account thru Fed Ex delivery manager to try to change delivery or something per the slip they left, they had to verify me. I missed the numbers in the address I guess, so they shut me down saying they suggest I wait a few days to make an account as they couldn't verify me. First time around, they had my ex's street number but I've never been associated with that, so I didn't choose it. Then, thinking back, but trying to hurry, I missed my own two digit number, ugh, lol! I got everything else they asked, but now I'm worried I'll miss the next two attempts to deliver, and won't be able to set up the account in time, and worried they'll send them back! Ugh!

I had the exact same problem a few weeks ago. I missed all 3 attempts. After the final attempt they hold it at the local facility for 3 business days. The one I went to had hours until 8pm Monday through Friday. While it was definitely an inconvenience to go pick them up, at least I got them. So don't worry that they will get sent back after the last attempt. You'll have a few days to get them. I would just be sure to give them a call to verify.

Do you have Southwest points? We have the Southwest CC which gave us 50,000 free points after spending a few thousand in the first few months. We used the SW points to get us to LAX and back for free.
We then purchased United tickets from LAX-Hawaii for roughly $664/person RT.
ETA: We (2 of us) are flying PIT - LAX and I think our flights cost around 20,000 each, RT, so 40,000 total. We fly SW all of the time so the card was great for us.

Mine came USPS and arrived within 4 days. I ordered them on the 17th, they arrived on the 21st and the shipping status (on eBay) still shows an estimated delivery date of today.

I thought FedEx shipped if it was over a certain amount like $700 or something higher regardless of seller - an eBay thing.
For Kroger people - I was looking on the app for the ad tomorrow and saw no mention of fuel points 4x. Anyone hear or see something different? Was hoping that sale would start.

What seller did you buy from, and how much was the total? I want to make sure any gift cards I buy are delivered thru USPS, because I don't have time to go to a FedEx facility. Thanks again!

Honestly, I dislike United. We flew them to Hawaii before DS was born and I said that if I could go again, I would fly Southwest to LA and Hawaiian airlines to Hawaii. United has you select your flights, and then when you select your seats, there are none available except in the upgrade sections. DH was so mad, he wouldn't let me select a seat and we waited until more regular seats became available about 2 days before we flew.
Hawaiian airlines was great when we flew interisland, and their customer service is a 1000 times better than United.

I don't see where the bonus is applied to my cash balance. Is it applied to next "Fat check" without showing in cash balance?
