Disney Gift Card Deals

Also my mom has Sam's and lets me use it but is it online only that you can do the gift card from Walmart to Sam's Disney cards?

I've definitely been able to use a Walmart GC to buy online at Sam's. Haven't tried to in person yet but I know our Sam's does carry the Disney GCs in store so I would think you should be able to do so.

Does anyone else have issues with Cardcash? I ordered a Target GC last night with the promo code GETGOING, received confirmation email and hours later recieved a cancellation email with no explanation. I vaguely recall someone else posting about cancellations but have read so much lately I don't remember if they ever determined what the issue was.
That was me, and sorry but no I never figured out why they kept cancelling even though I emailed & called them that day. I went to Raise & finished buying what I needed.

Annnnnd another cancellation from Cardcash, accck. I'm trying a different credit card this time and lower denomination cards. Wish me luck!

The Best Buy gift card only prohibits you from buying open loop gift cards, so you can't buy the ebay gift cards which you pick the amount (the $25 - $500) with a best buy gift card. However, you can buy the $50 ebay gift card or the $25 ebay gift card with a best buy gift card.

There was a post around one or two hundred pages back that claimed that best buy had gotten rid of these open loop ebay gift cards, however that is not the case. I successfully bought one in a Best Buy on Sunday using my American express card (note I did not try to use a Best Buy gift card for the open loop card.)

I am not sure if I am lucky but while I am at BB, I have only ever bought the EBay GCs where you pick the amount you want loaded.

Same thing happened to us recently (just without the promo code). They couldn't give us any explanation over the phone when we called, either. Also, the money we paid was tied up for well over a week - definitely longer than the 1-3 business days they promised. :( Something to think about if you're in a time crunch.

If you don't mind me asking: how did you pay? I paid via credit card and had my refund in just a couple days.

I had issues with cardcash last year. I purchased two SW GCs and never got them. They ran the credit card three times, so I had $600 tied up. I called several times, as well as emailing and never got refunded. I finally filed a claim with my cc and got my refund that way. It took well over a month.

I just converted $100 in Walgreens GC to Disney GC! It was very easy. (Elk Grove, CA)

If that's in response to my question, (I think I even confused myself! ha!) I meant, if I buy a $300 Disney Gift Card, can I use 3 $100 Walgreen Gift Cards (sliding them) in one transaction? I just don't want to set off any red flags with the cashier.

I did this yesterday at Walgreens. I was nervous for the same reason as you but it worked no problem. Slid one gift card and then it just gave me the balance due and continued sliding the gc's until it was zero due. The cashier didn't think anything of it, just waited then when it was done, she handed me my receipt and said "have a good day". Super easy

Perfect! Thanks!

I did a $10 gc and my cc for the balance on a $25 Disney and she didn't bat at an eye, look at cards, or ask for ID.

FYI for those wondering about electronic gift cards and the Cardpool guarantee. I recently emailed Cardpool to ask about this and here is the conversation:
Me: "If I buy an electronic gift card from Cardpool and find out the balance is zero or only partial of what I purchased within 100 days will you refund my purchase? Yes or No?"
Cardpool: "Yes we will refund within 100 days of purchase if no or partial balance is on the electronic gift card when you receive it on through e-mail.
If you have any further questions or concerns, please email us."

Now it took a little back and forth the get a straight(ish) answer. In the final response from above they wrote my name wrong and had a few weird grammatical errors that make me think there is some outsourcing going on here which could potentially make refunds difficult. Or maybe they're just on allergy meds today, those certainly increase my grammatical errors ;) Anyways I'm done purchasing and never ended up using them but I figured I'd pass along what I'd been told.

No, I was just posting that it works in my area... sorry for the confusion.

Thanks for the information about the open loop gift cards. Someone lese had been told by a Best Buy employee that they considered the variable load an open loop card, but it was probably just an employee who didn't know.

BB allows disney GC to be purchased with a BB GC. Right now there's a promotion for ebates where you can get $5 off for spending $25 at BB (some people have had success buying GC online and do in-person pickup). ........

Ugh. Getting frustrated with BB.com! I'm trying to take advantage of the ebates offer ($5 off $25) and ordering a GC for in store pick up. I first tried, several days ago, getting a $50 ebay card and paying with a BB egift card. It was cancelled & I was't too surprised. However, I realized I had a bit of a PP balance so thought I'd use that today and it gets cancelled too! I can't figure out why it would be, since I have a balance that more than covers the purchase amount. I know I could just transfer the PP to my bank account and use that at BB, but I really like keeping my churning totally separate!!

I had trouble as well, and I am trying to find where this offer was documented. I purchased a $25 gift card on BB's site, and ebates had a bubble that said this was available at other stores as well, but BB did not reply until yesterday that the order was ready. By that time, the offer had expired. Since ebates game me my 1% for this order, I can't use the normal way to file a complaint, and I would sure feel better if I could point to something to show them my purchase qualifies for a bonus. I could just return the card at Best Buy, but I hate the hassle for me AND the people in the store.

Yep, that was me. I am thinking she was confused and not wanting to get in trouble.

I have gone to my other best buy as recent as last week and bought the loadable Ebay cards with BB GC's no problem. The one that had the employee that told me that, doesn't seem to carry those Ebay cards anymore anyway, every time I go in it's just the $50 ones in stock.

Not exactly accurate. I purchase eBay GC from BB in store and tell them the amount I want on the eBay GC. Open end cards like Amex, Visa and MC can't be purchased with a BB GC
