Halloween at Aulani

Does Aulani do anything special for Halloween? Do children dress up in costumes? Trick or treating? What about adults? I'll be there October 31 and was wondering how to prepare.

We were there in 2013 for DD's 2nd birthday in October and we're going back this October for her 5th. They do quite a few things. The resort is decorated, the characters are in costume, there is a huge Halloween party with glow sticks, games etc. on the lawn, and the family activity center has Halloween themed crafts. It was fun.

We'll be there in October also, towards the end. Though all of the Halloween activities sound like fun, I'm hoping that the characters will also be in their normal Hawaiian attire. Anyone know the answer? I have a ton of pics of my children with the characters dressed for Halloween (we go to Disneyland A LOT), so I would love to see the characters dressed for Hawaii. Hoping they'll do both!

Actually this was a source of disappointment for us last time. We arrived on the 23rd I think and only had one day of the characters in regular clothes before everything changed to Halloween. We did get photo w/o costumes at the character breakfast, however.

Thank you so much for the response. I'm not happy about it though. We get there on the 22nd, so I'll do my best to get most of my photos with the charaters the first couple of days. My family has never been big fans of Halloween.
