Same menus for lunch and dinner? And other dining questions...

We are planning our day in DLP in two weeks (squee), and we want to do a table service lunch for two around 1:30p-2p. A few questions that I cannot figure out for the life of me from research.
  1. Are the DLP guide menus pretty up to date? It's so weird that they don't have menus on their main site!
  2. Do the menus vary between lunch and dinner? Or are they the same? It looks like it's the same, right?
  3. How does the calling and making reservations work for an American? Will someone speak English? (My schoolgirl french is rusty!)
  4. Is it crazy too late to make reservations 14 days out? I know if this was WDW we'd be doomed, haha.
THANK YOU!!!

  1. Are the DLP guide menus pretty up to date? It's so weird that they don't have menus on their main site! May not be the latest menu but it'll give you an idea of what's offered ..... also check out the restaurant reviews sticky on here
  2. Do the menus vary between lunch and dinner? Or are they the same? It looks like it's the same, right? Exactly the same - same menu, same price
  3. How does the calling and making reservations work for an American? Will someone speak English? (My schoolgirl french is rusty!) Works absolutely fine - you can select an English speaking CM (phew!) but obviously a bonjour and an au revoir are much appreciated!
  4. Is it crazy too late to make reservations 14 days out? I know if this was WDW we'd be doomed, haha. Not at all - DLP is so much more relaxed and laid back than WDW.
THANK YOU!!!
I've written my responses in red. Hope you have a fantastic day. If you only have one day there my recommendation would be Walt's - right in the middle of Main Street yet it'll give you a welcome break from the midday crowds and (hopefully!) heat. It's my favourite restaurant.

Thank you for the responses! Like I know all the info is out there but it can be so hard to sift through everything. :)

I followed your advice and made sure to do my best Bonjour and Au Revoir on the reservations line. Walt was our second choice, but we were able to get Chez Remy for lunch... so, so pumped.

You're welcome! I've not been to DLP since Chez Remy opened so sadly haven't had chance to go there but my eldest DD has and LOVED it!

I chose "English" but quickly switched to speaking French for my poor lady. She did ok, until it came time to spell my name...I guess the transatlantic call wasn't quite as clear as I had hoped! She did switch back and forth with me as we chatted, but I have to say I was very thankful to be functionally bilingual!
