DIS Unplugged 10th Anniversary - Official Information Thread

I have finally started my journey, the ferry was running on schedule, there were extra buses on route, and the train did not break down, so now we are at the airport super early.
 
Does anyone know if we can still sign up for the NEDis scavenger hunt? I sent an email, but I am afraid that they are resting up, which I should be doing. :) Thanks.

I spoke with some NE dissers Friday at the ice cream meet, they encouraged us to come even though we didn't sign up. I would suggest getting a little early to sig in and get on a team.
 
It was great meeting so many people already. Sunday a few more of us are meeting in Epcot WS around 2:00-2:30 near Mexico. If you see a guy pushing a wheelchair and wearing a shirt covered in cheeseburgers stop and say hi, or run away.

This may be an interesting test, as it will be my first trip around the world since I stopped drinking.

We switched rooms to get closer to the lobby (and a bath fan that works), but the air conditioner unit ('s blower isn't working properly and) is getting replaced while we're at EPCOT tomorrow.

One of my wheelchair wheels is messed up, so we're renting an ECV for the rest of the trip. Animal Kingdom's terrain is no place for a wheelchair... all of the paths are textured and bumpy-I've had a rough day. My wrist and palm will thank me tomorrow.

Highlights:
Looking at that sunset on Kilimanjaro Safaris was awesome. Also, met some very courteous people.

We were all waiting in-between the two shops near the trees and shade until 2:40.

Everyone has their lanyards on so that should make it easier to find groups.

Only been here since Friday but great time so far - so many great CM interactions and lots of good food too. And the Star Wars fireworks are phenomenal (though more about the projections than fireworks
 
We'll be in EPCOT today. I'm wearing my white DIS Mega Meet shirt, Pizza Hut trucker hat, camouflage cargo shorts, and same blue/black cast on my foot. Oh, don't forget the scooter upgrade! DW is wearing a green shirt and beige cargo shorts.

Our plans:

Soarin' Around the World FP+ at 10:30AM
The Seas w/Nemo & Friends FP+ at 11:10AM
Picking up our credentials around 12:00PM.
Lunch rezzy at the Biergarten at 1:50PM
Walking/scooting around World Showcase at 3PM-5PM
Journey Into Imagination standby at 5:25PM
Spaceship Earth FP+ at 5:45PM

Well, that's a wrap for me folks. I'm at the airport whilst (@Olly) I wait for my flight back to Vancouver. It was definitely a short one, and I'm not too happy I'm missing the rest of the weekend and the live show on Monday but that's life.

I had an absolute blast this weekend though, spending Friday evening at Trader Sam's with @disneysteve and family and then meeting a lot of people at the Dole Whip meet. Saturday was amazing as well, listening to Pete in the morning, heading around the world showcase with Ryno, Tom and everyone else; and then Ryno dragging me along to the soft opening of Abracadabar with Pete and Oliver. Great weekend, lots of amazing people, one hell of a good cause.
 
We are heading to the Magic Kingdom late morning into the early afternoon. We have fastpasses for Winnie the Pooh, Little Mermaid, and Peter Pan (can you tell it's our sons first trip?) If anyone sees us stop and say hi! I'll be wearing my MegaMeet cred and a gray shirt. Looking forward to meeting folks at the ice cream social tonight :banana:
 
We are in EPCOT this morning. Spaceship Earth, Mission Space, Test Track, and possibly Frozen are on the agenda. We have a FP for Frozen, but we ride it the other day, so my husband doesn't want to ride it again. Then, we have an ADR for Via Napoli for lunch. After that, we will be wandering the World Showcase. I am wearing a green Yoda shirt.
 
Unfortunately, I wasn't able to attend. Just curious if anyone is posting pics from the events anywhere?

Seen a few pics on the DISUnplugged FB page - including a funny video I just looked at from there from about 1 Sunday afternoon from the auction items rooms that has Ryno and Oliver, Pete, and Teresa (saw Kathy in the background too I think) that was pretty funny. Also, of course, the "Flatties Adventures" FB page listed in that thread here, and a few peeps have posted pics here and there on FB.

I've asked if peeps are going to do trip or dining reports elsewhere here if they could provide links here, I'd appreciate, so we'll have to see. I figure at least the "regulars" who post here anyway might. I know PJ posted a link to his trip report here http://www.disboards.com/threads/the-disaversary-day-by-day.3528464/#post-56149041, but the last time I looked, it didn't have any pics.

EDIT - Just went back to PJ's report above - forgot he did have some pics on there (where has my brain GONE?) :), and now there's a few more. :)

Thanks Heidi and CnD! Yeah ...I'd like something to tie me into what's going. Not being there stinks!! I will definitely be there for the 25th though.... ;)
 
Introvert looking for something to do this evening. I am at Pop and up for drinks, dinner, parks, whatever, really. I would love to meet some folks that share my Disney passion. Anybody got plans for this evening that I can latch onto?
