What time does Disney Springs parking lot(s) open? Help!

We drove down to Orlando over the last two days and we're renting a house for the first time instead of staying on WDW property. We have a parasailing reservation at Sammy Duval's out of the Contemporary on Monday at 10am. My plan was to drive to Disney Springs and park for free, then take a bus to the Contemporary.

I just saw that Disney Springs "opens" at 10am. I wonder if that's just for the stores/attractions/restaurants etc or if we can, in fact, park around 9am and then take a bus to the Contemporary. After the parasailing, we planned to go back to Disney Springs and check it out and have lunch and see everything that's new.

Does anyone have first hand knowledge if we can park at 9am? And then hop on a bus to the Contemporary?

Problem is not when the garage opens; problem is that you probably will not be able to get a bus out of DS to CR in time for your flight. Direct buses to most resorts start running from DS around 11am.

As joelkfla just said...it's going to be a bus issue, not a parking issue. Disney prefers that people not park at DS and then take buses to resorts in order to get to parks. So, they don't see the need for early buses. Can you get one? Sure. But, there's just no way of telling how long you might be waiting for one.
It seems kind of silly to spend hours getting somewhere when you can just pay to valet park at the resort and then leave the car there all day. I'm just not sure saving $15 or so is worth 2 hrs of my time.

Does security allow Guests with Sammy Duvall reservations to park, the same as those with dining reservations? I could see it going either way.
