Early ADR on water park day?

We have a 4:45pm ADR at Via Napoli on the day we're suppose to hit Typhoon Lagoon. We've never been to a water park at Disney and we're renting a cabana to enjoy the day. Do you think we'll be too rushed to make the adr or do we only need a few hours at TL? As a side note, we're staying at beach club and going in August. TIA!

Are you utilizing the bus system? If so I would say that it would be a bit rushed. The water parks don't open till 10 I believe, so even if you get there at opening, by the time it would take you to get a bus back, then shower and get ready, then get to the park, it's not worth it. It depends on many of you there are and how long you take to get ready, but if my family of four were in the same situation, we would have to leave the water park by 1:30-2:00.

We have also never did a Disney waterparks (we ahave done lots of trips to THe Dells in WI). I am really excited.

We are doing the same thing on 3 days of out trip, our sleepin/"rest" days we are hitting up the water parks and go to HS and AK parks about 4:30. I was hoping that leaving the water parks at the latest at 3:00 would be enough time... Maybe have to do 2:30.

I am thinking we may uber our typhoon lagoon day as the bus ride to Coronado may take too much time...

Assuming no lightning temporarily shuts the park down early afternoon (a real possibility in summer- this happened to us last week at Blizzard Beach- & by "temporarily", I mean for 2 hours) you can get it all done early enough to drive/taxi back to your resort, shower & change, & drive/taxi to Via Napoli. The question is, why would someone renting a cabana for the whole day want to cut short their relaxing Typhoon Lagoon day to do all that? The beauty of Disney's water parks is that they have no ADRs, no FPs, nothing to make you have to look at your watch all the time. And with a TL cabana, you'll have the luxury of laying in the shade and really chilling out.

If you're rushing from attraction to attraction, to get finished early & quickly leave, you won't have much, if any, time to enjoy your cabana.

We were at Typhoon Lagoon last week and loved it. If I were renting a cabana, though, I would not cut my day short to have an early dinner somewhere else. I'd much rather relax all day in the shade at TL. I think you should reschedule your ADR for a different day to avoid feeling rushed.

Opening time varies by season. In mid-summer, Blizzard Beach opens at 10am and closes at 8pm, and Typhoon Lagoon opens at 9am and closes at 7pm.

I'd cancel or reschedule Via Napoli. We have a cabana reserved next month and plan to be at Raglan Road for a 7 pm ADR. That will give us the vast majority of the day to enjoy the cabana and park without rushing back to get ready for dinner.

Can you push the ADR back to 6:30 or 7pm?

There are showers at the water parks, but you'll probably want to allow time to get showered and ready for dinner at your resort?

I would honestly just cancel the ADR and head to Epcot when you guys are done with the water park and ready to eat. We've eaten at Via Napoli several times, all without a reservation and have never waited more than 20-30 min. I really don't think an ADR is needed..especially if it cuts your water park hours down

4:45 reservation means you would need to leave TL around 3:00 or 3:30 to allow enough time to go back to your resort to shower and get ready for dinner without feeling rushed. If I were renting a cabana, I wouldn't want to cut my water park day short.

We arrive at park opening (TL) and leave by 3:30-4 ish but I think you are cutting it too close.
