Can ticket vouchers be redeemed the night before we plan to use them?

I've purchased tickets, which come in the form of vouchers that must be redeemed on arrival, from Ares. We'll be arriving the evening before our first day in the parks. Would it be possible to exchange the vouchers for tickets and get pictures taken that evening to save time the next morning, or would that cause our tickets to count as being used that day?

You can go to the ticket booth and get the vouchers exchanged for tickets! However, they don't take your picture until they scan your ticket and you are going through the gate. Hope this helps!

Yes, you can. We always exchange our Ares vouchers the night before. Saves time on that all-important first morning! As the PP said, however, they won't take photos till the first time you actually use your tickets.

Errrr, what time does it save?

You can take vouchers right to the gate skipping the ticket booths. They scan the voucher and it immediately prints out a paper ticket and they hand that to you right then and there on your way in. Should be no need to exchange the night before.

Are the Ares vouchers different and not scannable at the gates?

I'm assuming a "ticket window" means a ticket booth and not a gate, but I could be wrong. Has anyone used these before at the gate?

Guests may pick up their tickets at any main entrance ticket window. Credit card holder must be present for voucher redemption. Personal photo identification will be required. If you are a guest at a Disneyland® Resort Hotel (Disneyland® Hotel, Disney's Grand Californian Hotel® & Spa, or Disney's Paradise Pier® Hotel), you may pick up your tickets upon check-in. Guests staying at all other hotels present your Quick Order Pickup confirmation and photo identification at any main entrance ticket window of the Disneyland® Resort.

This is what we get with GAT. There is no bar code to scan on the email. We have to take it to the ticket booth. We always do this the day before. You don't even really need the email...just proof of identification. If you bought an e ticket and there was a bar code on the email then they could scan that at the gate.

At 10:00 PM the night before our first day in the parks we took our AP vouchers to the ticket window to exchange. I'm glad we did because is was a fairly lengthy process - maybe 20 minutes.
They were so nice, they really wanted us to go into the parks gave us FP's to RSR's!
