Inexpensive Windsor Hills (or similar) Rentals?

If we stay at Windsor Hills, we normally rent through Vacation Central Florida, which offers really good pricing. They are sold out of our preferred accommodations for the week we want to go (a 3 bedroom condo for 9/3-9/10). With a baby and toddler, we really prefer the one-level layout as opposed to the townhomes in WH.

Have you seen another rental company with pricing as competitive as Vacation Central Florida? I've checked VRBO and the rates don't come close. Condos in September through Vacation Central Florida are $500 or less all-in (cleaning, fees, etc.). Any suggestions?

Thanks--we put in an inquiry on Windsor Hills Rent and got a bunch of responses back--several of which where in the $500-600 range for the 3 bedroom condo we were looking for. So thanks for that suggestion.

However, we found out the Windsor Hills main pool is down starting 9/6 (we are staying 9/3-9/10) and we typically use the pool more towards the middle or end of our stay. We don't like the two-floor townhome layout (to get access to a splash pad) so I'm checking out some private homes in Indian Creek. The private homes in Windsor Hills are too expensive for me ($1200+) but the ones in nearby Indian Creek seem more reasonable.

Just wondering if you know how long the pool is down for?

Oh no! Do you know the dates for this? We're there in November and no one mentioned the pool being closed - that would definitely affect our plans! Not that swimming is a guarantee, but we definitely would have looked elsewhere!

We are going with a 4 bed 3 bath private pool home in Indian Creek for $850. Each person (baby, 3 year old, nanny and me/DH) will have their own room and the key feature for us was the home has a real wooden crib, baby monitor and bed rails for my toddler.

I submitted and inquiry here: http://www.indiancreekflorida.com/ to get responses directly from home owners. We got several competitive offers in this price range.

We went with this home--Silver Springs. They only rent their home through the previous linked website, and not VRBO and the like. It doesn't look like the most updated home ever--TVs look like old tube tvs, no game room, etc. But the baby gear is there and we like the pool with separate hot tub.
