Just Booked

Congratulations!! My first time at the MK was when I was 12, in 1980. Since I used to live in Tampa, I went often since. Now living in Atlanta I go less often, but each time is as if it was the first time I am going. And I just booked a trip there for five days end of October! :mickeyjum

You'll have a great visit. Anticipation is half the fun too! I just booked my first Disney trip since 1979; so excited, with so much more to see this time!

Your first visit since 1979? Wow! That is a loooong time not going to Disney! My first visit was in 1980, but I have been back a good 20 times since. A lot of changes, some great, some not so good (no more Snow ****e's Scary Adventure or Mr. Toad's Wild Ride, Mission to Mars or If You Had Wings). But if you saw the Main Street Electrical Parade back in 1979, prepare to be amazed!

Yeah; it's been a while! LOL! I think the ride I'll miss the most is 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. Loved that one! But looking forward to Space Mountain again; must have ridden it a dozen times.

I also saved my leftover ticket booklet; I wonder if I can still use it? 8-)

I loved the 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea ride. I got to go again at Disneyland in 2012. They also still have Mr. Toad'so Wild ride there too.

We just booked too! I've been but this is my first time taking the kids. My daughter will celebrate her 5th birthday there and we booked a princess meal for her on her special day. She's going to flip out!

Hello All! We just booked our first Disney trip for September of this year! I am so excited, but nervous at the same time about planning everything. I am working with a Disney approved agent. Cant wait to see my daughters face!

Congrats! Like others have said it seems more daunting than it is. September is a lovely time to go. Great if you can catch a Halloween party the parade is wonderful your kids will enjoy the trick and treating! Maybe you too I do at 45! Once you are there and the Disney Magic is all around you honestly you will relax feel right at home.
