Help! With photobucket and photo resolution...

I am going crazy with photobucket! I have downloaded photos 2 ways - one by downloading the album and the other by right clicking and saving the photos. I am downloading 5x7 sizes (and had covers made for me in 5x7 size) and have tried them in all sorts of photobook software and it always says they are of low resolution! I tried printing one at home and it is blurry. What am I doing wrong? Please help - I am running out of time to get the orders sent in!
 
Some people do not create them at a high enough resolution for proper downloading. You must ALWAYS download and never right click and save. Photobucket does store images at a lower resolution than the original image so it must be good to start with. Please post a link and I will see what I get when I try to download the same images.
 
They are high resolution when I load them but for some reason they are not when downloaded. I suspect that photo bucket is just having issues at the moment as I tried uploading them again. When I upload them they are 2100x1500 but when I download it from photo bucket it is 1024x731. Please try it again tonight.
 
So it does look like photo bucket is having issues, I tried downloading someone elses design and I get a low resolution as well but I am sure it was uploaded much higher.
 
As I stated in my post, Photobucket does not store at the resolution of the original image.

Trying to download again will not help.
 
Ok, so if they are not stored in high resolution, why are people using it and how come others are able to use it no problem? I really don't get it and I am still stuck with no autograph books now (after I bought a voucher for photobook Canada).
 
Hmmm...when I open it it keeps showing that its 1024 X 731 and 3.4 inches by 2.4 inches. I've never seen photobucket do that to an image before...usually downloading it using the download option would give you the full size option. Good luck!

Though from googling it several sites keep saying the max height and width for an image on photobucket is 1024 so idk if that has anything to do with it or not. Resizing it on my photoshop software makes it a very clear image at the 2100X1500 size LadyB said it was made in (not that that helps you any), so apparently its something with photobucket being funky.
 
I read up on Photobucket resolution on their website long ago and the resolution restrictions have changed since.

Supported file types
  • Images – gif, jpg, jpeg, png, bmp
.bmp files are converted into .png files

Image size limits
There are no size limits in regards to uploading images, and all images are uploaded in their original size! (this is what has changed but I don't know when.... yippee!!)
