Dining Recommendations for a Foodie Wo Loves Everything

We just got back from a week and we had a hard time fitting in all the food we wanted to try! And I'm allergic to fish and shellfish so that rules out some items/places right off the top. One of my favorites this trip that I never tried before was the chicken skewer back at Paradise Grill I think it is. Comes with rice, veggies, and naan (or was it pita?) bread. Another new favorite I never had before was the sour dough burger at Carnation Cafe. It was really good! At Storybook Cafe we went at 4:30 to order off the cheaper lunch menu but still called it dinner. We split an appetizer and an entree.

Where is the Paradise Grill? I dont think ive seen that in my research

Did you say...Churro. Popcorn???? Where?!?!?!
My wife LOVES a churro! Please tell us where we can find churro popcorn!
i found it at the tower of terror gift shop. trolly treats in dca and candy palace on mainstreet have a large selection of specialty flavors (cheddar, maple bacon, garlic parmesan, sriracha something...), but i couldn't find the churro flavor there, i assume they were out. i would imagine pooh corner might have it also, but i would just check out all the shops, because you never know. i wouldn't have thought to check the tower of terror shop, i just happened to find it when we were getting off the ride.
when i go back in a couple weeks, i'm cleaning them out, so if you're there around the 31st and can't find any churro popcorn it's because i bought it all :D

For the chile lime corn - just about any cart that sells turkey legs has the corn. I've gotten it in Frontierland, and on DCA close to Mad Tea Party, before going in to Frozen Live.

I'd also recommend Steakhouse 55 for breakfast, and the beef nachos at White Water Snacks at the Grand Californian.

Funny thing, I watched the YouTube video The DIS did of 5 Best DL Snacks, and Ryno claimed they all (Pete, Tom Bell, Corey) shared the nachos at 9am. It's a lunch item, not available til 11am. But still worth it.

The burger served at lunch at CCR is probably the best in the parks, although it is expensive. The roasted corn appetizer is delicious, too. Does DtD count? If so, then try the beignets at the Jazz Kitchen Express, the short rib burger at UVA Bar, the Popcorn Shrimp and the Bananas Foster at the Jazz Kitchen. Also the cheese plate at NR -- with a glass of wine, this is a very nice way to end a day in the parks.

If you get nachos from White Water Snacks, I reccomend asking for them topped with the shredded carnitas. Not on the menu but they will make them for you this way.

Also, the meal I had at RB Jazz Kitchen was my favorite meal last trip....Cajun Chicken Mac and Cheese.

The Paradise Garden Grill is next to Goofy's Sky School in DCA
What a great slide show! We should have taken pictures during our visit, the food was as pretty as it was delicious. But, we were seated with another couple that we really hit it off with and wound up chatting too much to remember.

I don't remember what all we had, specifically. They ask about likes/dislikes, allergies, etc. at the beginning of the meal and since we eat everything, we were pretty much served everything. I know there was beef, lamb, scallops, turbo, and tuna. We did the wine tasting as well, since we were staying on site and just walking back to the room. What was what was very impressive to me was that of the four of us sitting there, no one was ever served the same thing. That made it really fun, as DH and I could each taste a little of what the other person had.

I did a tasting like that at a restaurant by us, ironically for the same price and it was the same way. Made it so much fun because then you got try everything. I think NR Chef's Counter is absolute must now..

Is it normally with chicken or steak? Also, where is RB Jazz Kitchen?

Maybe they made an exception! Who knows, but nachso at 9am is my kind of breakfast LOL. I did hear S55 for breakfast is great, by the team and some people on the boards too.

Is this that burger for $24? That is pricy, but I can imagine it being incredible. Usually burgers for that price are delicious, even though the thought of paying that much is outrageous. And DtD does count! Im open to anywhere on property and even off. I live for a cheese plate so the NR one is a must now.

Carthay 8-oz Angus Burger
Cheddar Cheese, Pepper Bacon, Grilled Onions, French Fries

Yes....normally the nachos come with steak or chicken. But they have a carnitas cheesburger there and will gladly top the nachos with carnitas instead!
Ralph Brennans Jazz Kitchen is in Downtown Disney. It is a bit pricy but the food is great here. Also, we dined on a night they had live music which was great as well. Another great spot in DTD is Naples for pizza.
