Is this a sign of the discount percentages for 2017?

OP, just wondering where you are getting this info, as the agent I use for the exclusives says they won't be available for next year until late August, early September...

op I too would be very interested as this may be the kind of discount to actually get us here and we are flexible,,, you can pm me if you feel comfortable, it would be great info to have and use,,, thank you

I'm not sure, but I think its in that ball park for that time frame.
You are getting 55% off of rack rate for this coming September? We are currently booked off-site but with that kind of discount would definitely consider switching. Where do you find those types of discounts?

No, but there are some staying at the Poly through a certain TA that have got that rate.

Thanks for your reply! I can't imagine a TA being able to score that good of a discount unless they themselves are just making up the difference. Great deal if you can score it!

I got quotes from several TA's I found online and, of course, they were all the same as I could book myself. I did reply back to the one with the Labor Day special about any other pricing that may be available (I won't give up control unless it's a spectacular deal!). She replied back that they would have special agent discounts available in the Fall for next year (my dates are for June) and that she would put me on the mailing list to receive an email once the discounts were available. I would love to surprise my family with an upgrade to a monorail resort if at all possible.

We have booked directly through Disney in the past. I was curious to see that the "starting at $89" rooms at values were not available for any date I searched in 2017 on Disney's website. I know discounts typically come out in the fall, but it seems like false advertising to have zero inventory at the price listed. I have not checked the prices in several weeks because we decided to rent DVC points for AKL this time.

Eta that we did get a quote from an agent for Jan. at about 30 percent off. The friends we are traveling with wanted to rent points instead, but I will use the agency in the future.

Have you tried posting the full web address of the TA on here...? You may be able to do that and then not have to PM everyone the info. :) I did try the one I *think* you may be talking about and it gets blocked though...

For those who want to know, you will need to PM me. I don't mind at all to share it, but I am beginning to believe the TA should give me a slice of the pie for all those I have already referred. :D:D But I do love to help out others if I can. So give me a PM!

If its the TA I'm thinking of, the rate is low b/c its a conference rate. (its on the up and up vis a vis Disney and the TA.) FYI You can only book certain, limited view/categories, and its not upgradable at check in (I asked to pay the (usual) difference and they said impossible with this rate), and you cannot get the dining plan. Not complaining - I don't need either - just pointing out the limitations.

Going along if it is who we are thinking of you cannot upgrade the tickets either so make sure to get what you need. But occasionally with some of thier deals you CAN add the dining plan.

Would you be able to pm me too? I tried to pm you but I couldn't figure out how to do it. Thanks!

I'm just learning about this TA. Do they do this frequently? Any chance there'll be "conferences" from this (or any other TA) in the summer?
