Gilmore Girls Netflix Continuation-Premiere Date 11/25/16

I'm looking forward to the reboot and I'm glad to see they are able to bring back a lot of the original characters. There was some buzz about this and Melissa McCarthy's absence last week...the producers figured she was too busy/she was never asked type thing.
 
I think Sooki will end up in the final product. From the buzz last week, it seemed like wires were crossed. Melissa McCarthy says she was not asked, but Amy Sherman Palladino insists she's been in talks with Melissa's people. I'm willing to believe that Melissa's people hadn't taken the offer to her yet. But Amy seems willing to bend heaven and earth for her to be involved.

I'm SO EXCITED about it
 


I heard Milo (Jess) was coming back too and that makes me unhappy that Rory will not be with Logan.

Interesting to see where they pick up with the stories.
 
All the boyfriends are coming back now. I am very excited!! I too, have to believe, that at some point, we will see at least a couple minutes of Sookie.
Richard, well that one isn't possible, and is very sad :-(
I have to say, I thought I was the only Logan fan, Jess was my least favorite of the boys.
 


I think Sookie in the finished product as well. I love/hate Dean & Rory /Jess & Rory/Logan & Rory. All for different reasons.

Disneyforus2002, I agree. From the first episode their chemistry was apparent.

That's a good way to put it. None of them were really all that she needed.

This is the first I've heard of the new series, though. - I'm excited!!
 
I am so excited!!! I watched ABC family repeats every single day after I had my boy and was emotional while breast feeding. It was seriously my favorite part of the day. I've watched the entire series multiple times.


On the boys....I agree I didn't like any of them fully. But I think overall my favorite was Jess. Didn't like Logan at all!!
 
Is Paris coming back ? (She is on How to get away with Murder -but I stopped watching that in Dec so she could be dead by now ;))
 
I could not be more excited! I remember watching all the episodes with my mom as they came out...at least this time we wont have to wait a week between episodes!
 
I was so excited to hear that Gilmore Girls is coming back! Love that show. I liked Rory with Dean the most. I hope Sookie joins in. Word has it that the new season of Mike and Molly will be the final season. Can't wait for the show to air! Anyone know when it's scheduled to debut?
 
I think the timeline is sometime this year. I've read Jess and Doyle (Paris's Yale boyfriend) will be back also. Danny Strong (Doyle and Jonathan on Buffy the Vampire Slayer) has become a successful writer producer.
 
I am BEYOND excited about the GG revival!!! I am a huge GG fan watched it when it was on tv, bought the dvd's after it ended, spent too much time on netflix watching it (eventhough I have the dvd's) lol Have mugs, tshirts, books....

Ok now I sound like a weirdo :crazy:

They will be dealing with Richards' death in the first episode they air as Emily will be dealing with now being a widow. I don't know which reports to believe when it comes to why Melissa will not be in the show. I just hope that if she really doesn't come back that they write her out in a plausible way.
 
I can't wait for this. I was SO bummed when the show ended even if season 7 was just not the same after Amy Sherman-Palladino left. That said, after GG I became a big Supernatural fan and it took quite awhile for me to get used to calling Jared Sam instead of Dean. I'm not so sure I will be able to switch back and call him Dean at this point. It wouldn't be so bad if his brothers name on Supernatural wasn't Dean. It's just so confusing.

A friend of mine and I were talking about this yesterday and we feel it would be all kinds of awesome if they did a crossover episode and Sam and Dean showed up in Stars Hollow to fight demons. I could totally see Taylor being unmasked as a trickster or something. Come on now, who's with me? Anybody?
