My DH and I are planning our first adults only trip from Nov. 6th -Nov. 12th. We want to attend the Food and Wine festival, but I want to see the Christmas decorations at MK. Will these dates work or should I change my dates?
Thanks!!!

These dates should work as the Christmas decorations at the MK are up for the Christmas parties which have historically started near the start of November. I went this year November 13-16 and the MK had the tree up on Main Street other years the big tree hadn't gone up until the start of December (when the filming for the parade was done, but since they filmed earlier this year it went up earlier and was actually in the parade shots.). So we will see when they put the tree up. Anyway, you can probably bank on all or most of the Christmas decor being up at that time at the MK. Have you thought about doing the Christmas party? My husband and I have gone by ourselves (no kids for us) many times and have had a blast. If you really want to immerse yourself in a Christmas feeling at the MK it might be worth it.

I know you didn't ask about other parks but Epcot doesn't put of Christmas stuff until Food and Wine is done. HS and AK will probably have stuff up at least towards the end of your trip. Resorts will be hit or miss, it seems like the resort decorations on the monorail line go up first. This year we were able to see the GL gingerbread house completed and the Contemporary display (we looked at them on our last day). But no other resort had Christmas stuff up yet. So those might be up or in the works while you are there.
