I am over 50, widowed, and have a Disney annual pass. I go with my female friends and adults kids all the time. I cannot seem to meet a quality man in my age range that claims any interests other that "working out" and outdoor sports activities. Any out there that just love Disney as much as I do and need a friend to go with to the parks?

We have a board just for Adults and Solo Travelers. I am going to move this post over there.

sorry I am female too - there are a few men who love WDW - but definitely more females. So go by yourself and see what you can find. LOVE my solo trips.

Over 50, female and married but still do solo trips or trips with my grown son. Husband hates to travel except to dive so if I want to travel it's solo for me. Go solo, enjoy.

OK, I'll be the first guy to throw himself under the bus. Male, 56, divorced and the kids are grown. I go to Disney 2-4 times a year for solo trips. When I vacation I need a more distracting vacation than a relaxing vacation. Food & Wine is my favorite time to go, have been doing that for about 10 years.

You are brave and so far the only male to respond. I am actually going to Hollywood Studios tomorrow evening with my son(28) and my daughter (37) for the final chance to see the Osborne family lights. I fell last night and really hurt my foot but I am determined to hobble along anyway. I went to Epcot's food and wine festival 4 times this fall. My kids have reservations to take me to the "Happily Ever After" character dinner at The Grand Floridian for my birthday in January. We all live within 1.5 hours from the parks.
Next time you head this way, maybe we can meet at one of the parks.

Hi,

I am over 50 (just barely, lol) as well and have been taking my daughter on Daddy/Daughter trips since she was 5 (she is now 8). I am married but the wife does not like going to Disney more than every 8 years or so. So i decided I would just take my daughter myself as she (and I) enjoy going more than every 8 years. We go once a year and we are very much looking forward to our next upcoming trip.

My kids are 28 and 37 so I am way, way, way past seeing the parks from that particular point of view. We go adult all the way. It is very different.

I just turned 50 a few weeks ago, a big Disney fan and yes I'm a single male. I've been enjoying solo trips to WDW, DCL, DLR, and beyond for years. I do have other interests and hobbies but Disney is towards the top of my list.
My birthday was last month. My kids took me to dinner at my favorite Disney Springs restaurant Raglan Road. I work for the state so we had MLK day off and, of course, my friend and I spent it at Animal Kingdom followed by a short hop over to Hollywood Studios. My next trip is March 6. We have dinner reservations at Be My Guest so we will spend the day at Magic Kingdom. One of my favorite events starts soon after. I absolutely love the flower and garden show at Epcot. I don't spend all my free time at Disney. The renaissance faire is in Tampa so I was there all day today. I love movies, eating out, wine tastings, live theater, reading, shopping, hanging out with friends and my kids. There is always lots to do in this area.

I turned 50 last June and celebrated by doing an early solo land/sea trip to WDW. I loved going solo on the cruise, but I admit that while at the parks, I kept wanting to share stuff with someone. It would be nice to meet up with some other fans when I go this October.

When is your next trip to WDW?
Sunday March 6 with my son (29), my daughter and son-in-law (37and 30). We have fast passes and dinner reservations at Magic Kingdom. My blackout period is March 19-April 1 then I will be going to Epcot as much as possible during the flower and garden festival. Those are my two favorite parks. I am looking forward to the new night time show due to start at Animal Kingdom soon and my son is dying to see the Star Wars firework show at Hollywood Studios. If you want to hang out I /we would welcome your company.

I will be hitting the food and wine festival at least once, probably more, at that time. Always happy to add others to the party.

Male. 52. Been to Disney World three times so far solo. I wouldn't mind having some company while there even if it's only for ride or two. Love Rockn' Roller Coaster!

Going March 6 to Magic Kingdom with my adult kids. We have fast passes and dinner reservations. Will also be making multiple trips to Epcot during the flower and garden festival. Will welcome anyone wanting to join the party.

Thanks -- I'm going in April. Just sent you a message in case you'd like to meet up then.

Are they any West Coasters besides me? I typically visit DLR more often than WDW.

I'm from the west coast. Haven't been on any solo trips. Single now and I'm thinking about this. I think I'd enjoy any Disney trip alone, but it's nice to have someone to hang out with when in the mood. Sometimes my sister and I go and we split up often. Never feels weird, or lonely! I'm actually hoping to move to Florida in a year or so, and if I lived close, I'd definitely go alone anytime!!
