Great photos! Based on the new aerial shots I saw today they still have a lot of rock work to do on the other side of that mountain.

Amazing pictures! I wasn't a big Avatar fan when I first saw the movie, but this addition to AK looks great. I really love your photo of the Tree of Life with the parrots. Mind if I ask what camera you're using?

Oh thanks. A 3 year old Samsung phone was all I had that day (it was a couple days before when really sunny).

Those things area going to look totally amazing in person. I think people are going to blown away by this land. Too bad it took like 5 years.

And is anybody not going to visit Avatar because it took longer to build than they preferred?
No, they can take as long as they like. I just want to make sure I see it in the first year it's open. From the story boards I've seen I feel like keeping the Avatar space up to opening day standards will be a nightmare.

No, not at all. I have been a supporter of the Avatar project from day 1, when the vast majority of people on the boards thought it was a terrible idea. And I realized then and now that the length of time was because they made the announcement before there was any work done on the design It just feels like it has been FOREVER that we have been talking about it, and I am thrilled that it looks so good. I'm a little sad that my timing will be I probably won't be able to see it until it's been open for a year or so.

Of course, Disney is building the world in real life faster than James Cameron can put together a movie sequel to it.

I really want to see this, but not on opening day. A few months to a year and I will be fine
