Beaches and Cream Question

Hi. I was just about to book an ADR for beaches and cream for lunch, on a day I was planning on visiting MK. But the address is Epcot resorts. My question is this; which park is beaches and cream nearest to? Also, if staying off property, can we still use the monorail or other Disney transport to get from the park to the beach club resort and what is the best option for this? TIA

Beaches and Cream is at the Beach Club Resort. Just take the bus to Beach Club from the MK and then get the resort bus back to the MK. If you have park hoppers, you could walk into Epcot through the International Gateway, walk to the front of Epcot and take the monorail back to the MK, but that would take much longer. Anyone can use Disney transportation.

I know that you did not ask, but if you are planning to spend the. Day at MK, I would not take the time to go to B&C that day. You will lose a lot of time, IMO. If you are in Epcot, or are visiting the Epcot resorts, that is when a stop at B&C would be fun.

I wanted to try beaches and cream as everyone has been saying how nice the food and particularly the ice cream is. Can I ask your reason for not recommending booking on a MK day? I have 2 days planned for MK (was planning B/C) on the 2nd visit. Have 1 and a half days planned for Epcot and the same for HS. Any feedback greatly appreciated, as am now more confused than ever lol :)

The reason would be the amount of time it takes to get from MK to B&C and back. You would need to allow an hour for transport time each way, although it may not take that long. I don't know how long the bus ride is from MK to BC, I would guess 20-25 minutes, plus time waiting for a bus, and the other resort stops, as BC buses are shared with the other Epcot resorts. MK and BC are not even close to the same area. B&C would be best on an Epcot or Hollywood Studios day. You could walk from either, although the walk to/from HS is probably about a mile (rough guess), there is a very nice walking path; you could also take the boat from HS or Epcot. The walk from the International Gateway exit of Epcot would only be a few minutes.

Lol. This is why I posted the original question. We will be driving to whichever park, so would it be quicker easier to just drive from whichever park to beaches and cream or take Disney transport or walk?

Even if you drive it's going to take a lot of time. From MK you'll have to ferry or monorail to the Ttc. Then tram to your car. Then drive to beach club, park and walk to beaches and cream. You are better off going on your Epcot day when you can walk out the international gateway and walk to beach club

The only way I would go in an MK day is if you don't plan on going back to MK after dinner

And seriously, don't forget about The Plaza. It's in the MK and the food and ice cream are just as good.

When we ate at The Plaza restaurant, they served us a brownie sundae with stale walnuts...not good at all. The food at The Plaza restaurant was pretty good, just not happy with the dessert. I think Beaches and Cream desserts are better, at least based on my own experience, I've tried a few different things at B&C and they have always been great.

Yuck…stale walnuts sound gross! We have eaten at The Plaza at least 10 times and never had a bad experience though. My son always gets that monster brownie sundae too!

remember, some folks, actually dont mind time away from the parks.

This is our only ADR. Trying to keep costs down. So most meals will be QS or leaving the park around 2pm and then returning after. This has been recommended by many, to get out of heat/rain and take a break. Visiting end July for 2 weeks :)
