New DVC Member Cards coming next month.

Does it seem to be a correlation between date of membership and receiving the new cards? We only became members last April, and are still waiting for our new cards in Washington.
 
We have been owners since 1998. No cards yet. I called yesterday and was told that the last ones should be mailed out Feb 13 so We should get them by end of month. If not call back. I did look at the digital version which is simply a picture of the card that can be printed out. But it was only in my husband's name. So I asked how I get a printout in my name, since we are co owners. I am going to Disney on March 4 but my husband won't join us until March 10 and as I found in the past withiut your own name on a card, you can't use it for discounted merchandise, etx. At least that has been my experience. I was told I needed my own account to get a card printout with my name on it. So I tried to set up my own account but it wasn't working and eventually...after 30 min on the phone...I was told that I couldn't get my own account using the same email address we have on file for DVC, my Disney experience, etc. My husband and I use the same address for everything but his work stuff. Since I didn't want to set up a new address just for this, I decided to wait and see if the cards come in before we leave. Otherwise I guess I'll have to set up a new email address, which I will never use and probably won't remember, to get my own card. Seems silly to me.

Your old card will still be valid until April so there isn't really a need to go thru that struggle. And if you don't ever receive it then request one be sent.

I read that they have stopped issuing them there or anywhere on property. The digital version takes the place of that - assuming you can access it.

Thanks, our trip is over April thats why i was asking. I've printed off the digital one hopefully that will do.
 
Got Disneyfiles earlier in the week. Our member cards (both parties) came to PA yesterday.

Both cards are correct-- including join date, names and expires 2021 :)
 


Our new cards came today, in one envelope. They certainly are pretty, and we really did need new ones; after 18+ years the old ones were looking pretty bad.
 
Both mine and my DH's cards came today in one envelope that also included the DVC 25th Anniversary booklet.
 
Just got ours in Iowa today. Both cards in one mailing. We received the Disney Files magazine last week so I was beginning to wonder about the cards.
 
We got our yesterday...both cards in the same mailing.

We are in Michigan, members since 2008:goodvibes.
 
We both got our cards yesterday . We live in Louisiana , members since 2000 . Have a magical day to all DVC members.
 
Received in MI, 2-16-2016. 16 days AFTER the announced December "you will get new cards next month" fiasco. Really DVC - have a meeting, coordinate, get a plan stick to plan, or ANNOUNCE the problem. Telling the truth results in far fewer EMAILS and Phone Calls.
 
Has anyone whose cards came separately, received both cards? DH and I are same address and same account. My card arrived a month ago. His is still not here.
