Looking for info on the w/c accessible tubs and showers at OKW, Saratoga Springs and Kidani Village... What kind of benches/transfer benches are in them? Are all resort accessible tubs/showers built the same? The person I'm trying to plan for needs to roll in the shower and then transfer onto a bench of some sort...not the narrow ones in the standard rooms. Also, how would she transfer into the tub? how is it set up?

WDW resorts have various types of accessible rooms, including ones with a tub and ones with a roll-on shower to meet the different needs of various guests. If your party needs a roll-on shower you should reserve that specific room type.

Enjoy your vacation!

You can have a room with either a tub with rails, or a room with a roll-in shower; the person who requires accessible accommodations needs to decide what will be best for them, which is typically what they are used to at home.

There are pictures of the bathrooms at many different resorts in this thread here. I have stayed in Value, Moderate & Deluxe, and there is little difference regarding tubs & showers (other than color scheme and overall size of the bathroom/bedroom).

The roll-in showers at most Values & Moderates typically have a standard size opening, and a wall-mounted, folding transfer bench in an alcove on the left or right, with handheld shower sprayer, as well as a wall-mounted (regular height) showerhead. Depending on your friend's abilities, she may need assistance with transferring before or after (or both) the shower. At Poly, the shower was open fully along the long side, but at Wilderness Lodge (which is also a Deluxe) the bench is in an alcove on one side of the shower stall. All of them seem to use a standard 3' x 6 footprint (the space for a standard bathtub) for the roll-in shower.

I would recommend that she look at some of the pictures in the thread I linked to above to see if she will be more comfortable with the shower or the tub. Disney may change of lot of things between Resorts, but the accessible tubs & showers are pretty much always the same.
