We are also just back, 3-10. I guess I agree with the crowds as reported. We usually got to the park during EE, but not at the very start of it. Long lines to get thru the turnstiles each morning, painfully slow. The first hours are really great, of course. We usually left around 1-2pm for a break. On busy evenings, we headed to DCA. Bummer, fireworks (for wind) were cancelled I think every single night, not sure about the 9th.
I thought the LONG line for Jedi training sign ups was to get into Launch Bay! I was thinking, WOW this is popular! Then a CM said, this is for Jedi training, haha. Kylo is great, I had no idea he would speak. Chewie hugs everyone and took a selfie with me. I loved the SW Space Mt overlay, rode 3X. Also did the new ST 3X, (we only got Jar Jar once, lol.) BTRR is so much better at DL, of course, like Space, Pirates, etc. Finally rode Storybook Canal boats at dusk/dark, sweet.
My DS is in a wheelchair. One observation, for pedestrians, strollers, WC, and ECVs.... can we all just TRY to stay to the right, when possible?? I do not mean 100% of the time, I just mean most of the time..... The pathways at DL are narrower than at the WDW parks, especially in the (now packed because of SW stuff) Tomorrowland.
DS caught a stomach virus on day 4 or 5. I got it on the morning we were set to fly home (to the east coast). We had to stay an extra night at a hotel near SNA until I could function. (thanks to SW, they did not charge us to switch flights to the next day).
