Getting to Cape May Cafe from Boardwalk Villas?

Hi all,

I have to make my ressies tomorrow AM, we will be staying at Boardwalk Villas. How do we get to beach club (was planning breakfast at Cape May for breakfast) and how long does it take? Is it a long /far walk?

Walk around the lake. It's not a long walk. It's not a short walk either. 10 minutes probably.

Walking is easy. But it is also worth noting that if there is a boat at the Boardwalk dock, (or one getting ready to pull in), that is headed toward DHS, you can hop on it and the very next stop will be the Yacht/Beach Club Dock. That will be faster as long as the boat is at the dock or pulling in. If you have to wait even 5 minutes for a boat, it is faster to walk. And make sure that the boat is headed to DHS. The route for that boat will be:
Departs Epcot
Arrives at Boardwalk--Departs Boardwalk
Arrives at Yacht/Beach--Departs Yacht/Beach
Arrives at Swan/Dolphin--Departs Swan/Dolphin
Arrives at DHS--Departs DHS

Once it departs DHS and heads toward Epcot, it goes to Swan/Dolphin, then to the Yacht/Beach, and then to Boardwalk, and then to Epcot. So if you get on a boat heading toward Epcot instead of DHS, you will be headed in the wrong direction!

Give yourself plenty of time and then decide your methods of travel. walking is generally the quickest, plan on 10 minutes. However....do you like boat rides? I do. We take that boat at least once a trip.

From our room at BWV, right above JellyRolls we could walk to Epcot in about 10 minutes. From anywhere in the building you should be able to get to BCV in 10 minutes.

Long vs short walk means different things to different people lol But I would agree that it's typically about a 10 minute walk

So that the OP can determine if it's a short or long walk for them. The distance is about .5 miles from door to door; give or take a couple of steps depending on how big your feet are. LOL

It's exactly 0.9 miles to make one loop around that part of the waterway...they are on opposite sides apporoximately...

So .45 miles or roughly 2,400 ft, 750 yards, 700 ish meters...1.2 parsecs...
