We're staying at Board Walk, I knew about the service but thought SW was not a participant, please tell me what our last morning will be like, what will I do and when.

Thanks,

The RAC desk is open from 5 am to 1 pm.

Before you use RAC, you'll need to call Baggage Airline Guest Services at (407) 284-1231 to pay your baggage fees.

You must have your bags completely checked in at least 3 hours before your flight - don't wait until the last minute.

Since you're flying SW, no baggage fees to worry about. So, your timing depends on your flight departure time. You need to be finished, and walking away, no less than 3 hrs prior to flight departure. I like to get down to RAC as soon as possible. You'll walk out the doors, valet on your left. Turn right, and you'll see the RAC counter. It will be the same as checking in at MCO. So bring id.
The length of time will depend on your timing. If your flight is before 8:30am, you might be able to make it work. But in all honestly, I don't even think about it for flights before 8:30. DME could pick you up between 5:15 and 5:45 for an 8:30 flight.

We like to fly out later, so we often have until about 3 before our magical express time. Last time we dropped our bags off at RAC at about 10, dropped our carry on bags with bell services, hit Epcot for some quick last minute shopping, and ate lunch at the Boardwalk Bakery before our pickup. The lobster roll is to die for. Just make it back in time to pick up your carry ons and stuff any new purchases into them.

We just did this last week. We had EBCI with Southwest. On our last morning there was a packet on our door that contained our boarding passes and luggage tags. We put the tags on our bags and dropped them off at the RAC counter where they weigh them and put on more tags. As others said, the counter is open 5 am - 1pm. The next time you see your bags will be in the carousel at your arrival airport. At the airport you can go straight to security because you'll have your boarding passes already.

Thanks, all, we're looking forward to a much more relaxed get-away day now.
