Purchased the BF SW/Aquatica tix but haven't activated them yet, likely going to hold off until summer or fall.

Unable to register the AP (error message that it's a voucher #) but would like to know what days the discount is available for 2016 and the how much of a savings.

Could an AP holder please post the dates?

They are available most days. We went Saturday, January 2 which you would think would be blocked out. Our price without the dolphin swim was $99. If you call them, they will give price for your day and some of the reps will make a reservation at the rate without your pass being purchased yet. Others say you have to have it. You do need to bring it that day.

They are available most days.

Many peak times (summer, specifically) don't have the deep discounts for passholders that are offered during other times of year. Passholder prices for July, for example, are $300 per person for the dolphin swim, $160 per person without.

keishashadow, i can't see the discounted dates either as i haven't activated my pass yet.

i'm guessing others are in the same situation as i have been reading this thread and no one has replied to your question yet.

i have 4 different time periods that i can go but trying to juggle my UO schedule in between DC and disney.

if i find the pass holder discovery code dates, i'll post it here and share.

I am happy to look up any DC dates for anyone who can narrow down their travel timeframe (@macraven ... I chatted with @keishashadow via PM and was able to help her with DC pricing for her trip :thumbsup2). The rates can differ depending on time of the year, so anyone who wants me to look up passmember admission rates for a particular week or month, feel free to post your proposed date(s) here and I will be happy to find 'em!

No thanks, I'll find the info later
I do have a friend that works there and will have him link me the calendar
I'm not in a rush

I read the the forums and this thread caught my eye as its on my to do list for the information

I need various dates as I am juggling different spring/ summer time periods and wanted to establish my dc time based on their pricing

We are looking to go October 8th. Wondering if it would be worth purchasing a single SW AP.

The entire month of October offers the same passmember pricing for all dates: $169 pp for dolphin swim admission, $99 for day resort admission :thumbsup2.

If you were buying an AP just to get the discount (assuming there would be savings realized by doing so), your best bet is to buy an Aquatica AP. The Seaworld annual pass is $168, while Aquatica's is only $108. Both will qualify you for the discounted day at DC.

Regular non-passmember pricing for your date is $229 dolphin swim/$179 day resort....but those prices will include 14 days admission to both Seaworld and Aquatica. Did you plan to visit either of those parks as well during your vacation?

We plan on doing both at least once. I had no idea the Aquatica pass offered the same discount. I know it will actually save us money to do it that way, but it seems a shame to buy a pass and have no one use it. Could I buy it for a friend that lives in Orlando, and have him reserve our Discovery Cove day? Does he have to be in the reservation? I could then leave him with the pass to use at least a couple times over the following year?

I would assume that the person with the annual pass would have to be present at the time of check-in at DC. Just my guess, though...I would suggest you call SeaWorld Parks customer service to confirm: 1 (888) 800-5447.

you should call them and ask if that can be done.
not sure if they use the fingerprint scan with the ap.

Does the $99 discounted price also include 14 days at Seaworld and Aquatica with the option to add Busch Gardens? I was actually going to invite my friend along to DC, so it's no big deal if he's supposed to be there.

The $99 passmember price only includes admission to Discovery Cove....no 14 days at either SeaWorld or Aquatica.

Ah, well then it wouldn't make sense for me to do it that way. Thanks, anyway!

yes, you did. Good info for month of October too. However, in lieu of people asking for specific dates, it would be far more efficient if someone could pay it forward for the un-activated AP holders and list all of the 2016 AP discounted rates.

I'm honestly surprised that the planning sites don't routinely provide the dates along with the other information they repost.:confused3

jmho, find it ridiculous that SW doesn't permit those who have purchased an AP online, but not activated it yet, to access that schedule.

Many here are fortunate to be able to book multiple trips to Orlando each year, while others are limited to just one. Regardless of the number of trips per year, most have a budget to which they must adhere. One really needs to have all the components of a trip (including the DC discounted rates & dates) in front of them when pricing out various times periods to see what date produces the best value for them.

I would, if it were that simple. Unfortunately, their pricing structure does not follow a basic formula of "this time of year the rates are X, and on these select dates, the rates are Y". On a few dates I looked at for this month, the passmember rate for the day resort was HIGHER than the rate with the dolphin swim . Very strange!! And on a few days, DC appears to be closed completely (Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursdays in late February and early March).

I attempted to copy and paste the monthly calendars (which show the rates by day) into a reply here on the Dis, but the filters won't allow more than 35 images per post....and each date has both a palm tree and a dolphin image (to signify the difference in the two rate types) so I can't even do that!!

As a general rule (with some exceptions),

- most dates are $99 for the day resort admission, $169 for the dolphin swim
- dates on and surrounding statutory holidays (especially in the warmer months) are generally higher than the above prices, or not discounted at all
- summer dates are also blacked out

they sure don't make it easy on us do they? ok will go with the general rule of thumb going forward.
