Shoutout to the Trio

I don't mean to raise a post from the dead (though, I don't consider 2.5 months the dead) but I just have to say, I've noticed a significant difference the past week or three without @SorcererHeidi and @KingLlama on the boards and in chat.

Heidi, your positivity is certainly missed.
I just jumped on the boards after a long and hectic day at work and I had 16 notifications, it seems you've been catching up on the threads you've missed while you've been away.
The positivity you exude and the well wishes you put out there for others is infectious and so heart warming.
I know you've got a lot on your plate personally at the moment and for you to still come here and be you is so wonderful and certainly noticed by me.
I know you've got a lot coming up and I hope we can repay some of the kindness and pixie dust thoughts that you consistently hand out.

(Mmmmm) llama, your witty quips, hilarious hypotheticals were also missed. I can always count on you to have something hilarious to say but also insightful when warranted.
I hope all is well in your world also, I know you mentioned a few things were going on.

Also, I'd like to shout out to @TheMaxRebo and @pjweaver for upholding the "funnies" while llama has been away.
You're both great and always have something funny or intelligent to say.

I feel like this community is always growing and getting stronger and I'm so glad to be a part of it.
People poke fun at me for having "online friends" but I'm past caring. I like having intelligent discussions, heated debates and just general chit-chat here, so to you all (and others, @disneysteve @samsteele @Jadeey @TiggerTrigger @SarahDisney @Sean91 @CampbellzSoup and I know I've forgotten people) thanks for being awesome and letting me share my Disney side with you!!

Well if there is something wrong with having online friends, we're all in a lot of trouble.

Well said, Jes. Community can mean a lot of things. There's no requirement to actually know the people in real life. I'm part of a few online communities where I've actually met few if any of the participants in person. That doesn't make the relationships any less valuable to me. Thank you all for being a part of this community.

Thanks for the kind words, but if we are relying on me to say something intelligent then we are in more trouble than first thought! ;)

the "online friends thing" reminds me of the first time I was setting up a DISmeet with a female poster and introducing her to my wife "Hey honey, this is the woman I met on the internet!" .... good times

I'm actually going to be in this position next Friday night!!
Meeting with a friend I met here and his wife for dinner! Leigh is coming.
His wife and I share a name so it's even more odd really! Lol
 


I haven't been able to make it to chat so far this week (I'm hoping to make it for the Universal show today, but we'll see), and I've certainly missed the fun and craziness in chat. I've been stopping in here when I can so at least I'm getting some of it, but ... seeing everyone in chat brightens my day a little, and I've missed that this week!

Yeah, I'm weird. But internet friends are awesome, and I'm so glad to have you guys!

And I'm going to be totally "un-Heidi-like" and keep it brief, and just say "back atrcha with all your sentiments, Ms. Australian Princess, this truly IS a community, and you all truly ARE my friends, and I don't care who thinks that's weird or otherwise, or whatever". I have a saying in life "Those who get it, get it.....those who DON"T, never WILL". :P:P

This place (and the Team) has seen me through MANY rough days/times, and I know it will continue to do so in the future, and I am VERY appreciative for that, because it IS needed. And I ALWAYS get much more back than I could ever HOPE to give, all the time. GROUP HUG!!! :grouphug:
