I used the link but it says I am earning $4 in eBay bucks on $200? Should I back out before hitting Confirm and Pay? If I do that the GC number will still be valid correct?

Probably too late to be of help, sorry! But, I do believe the cards would retain their value as you didn't actually spend the gc's. I don't think that's correct on the ebay bucks. I think it'd be $8 dollars, 4% of $200.

Thanks! I got it, I think I bounced myself out of the 2x offer activating Ebates. In the middle of my dilemma I was trying to see who was online that I could IM and noticed you are from the western suburbs also :wave2:

Hmm, had you activated the 2x/4% thing? I activated mine, then closed out and mine stayed with the 4% even when I went back in through TCB. But, I haven't bought yet! Ugh, I have $900, and worrying about hitting the $5000 limit in the six months, especially since I will be wanting to do the bigger ones like 4x and 5x(of course, assuming I get them). I've gotten all in the last 3-4 months, but never tried churning till my first one back in late Jan. I sorta feel like I'm leaving money out there, though, cause I'd get $28 after shipping, then like $15 back thru TCB, but I should check ebates on that, that might be better and more reliable, lol.
I've got a trip in May and in Nov. I'll probably be using the money to buy tickets thru my daughter who recently became a disney booking agent. I figure if I get my Disney cards at a good discount, it'd be close to what I'd get going thru parksavers. But if the prices go up before I've churned again, ugh! Too much to figure and think out, lol!

I see you have a trip coming up soon, that's awesome!

There definitely seems to be a lot of chatter that ticket prices may increase this month. If you are wanting to churn again before they do go up, then it might be wise to take advantage of this current promo. Remember, you have to wait for the Target GC's to be shipped to you and then order Disney from Target and now wait for those to be shipped to you. So, just throwing that out in case that matters to you.

We are going in early Sept. and did a ticket/room package through a TA. Our ticket prices are locked in; otherwise, I would be cashing out enough at this point to buy before the increase. Of course, we buy 6 tickets so a price increase hits us harder than some.

Thanks for chiming in again, wendow! Dang, I did forget about having to order Disney from Target and then wait for them before I can use them. Hmm, I shall have to think about that. Tickets are at parksavers for 4 days/3 free ph,(or same as 7 day ph), for $370.98(742 for two). It says they must be purchased by Mar 31st but not sure what happens to that if the prices are raised. I was planning on getting them there, then DD25 started doing bookings and doing the math I figured it would be about the same, plus she'd get commission back on the sale, so it might be even a better deal. Trying to get the best deal takes lots of thinking and decision making, lol. You definitely brought up a couple things I forgot about, lol, so thank you! Hmm, I might be too late anyway, waiting a week for gcm cards and then a week for disney cards. Ugh, I just wish we knew they weren't going to raise prices since there was the price hike in late fall!

Yikes, 6 sets of tickets! Wow, that is a big hit! I'm glad we've only got the two to buy. Sometimes I worry about the cost for just the two of us, but then think about families who go, and those who say it's so expensive, which I kind of forget about, the fact that others are spending much more than we are.

Did you end up with the 4%, or the regular 2%? When I checked out it was telling me I'd earn $5 (should've earned $10). I haven't confirmed yet if I got $5 or $10 but I was confused because I had clicked the link to activate 4%.

Edit: I just checked and even though when I was checking out it said the opposite, I did receive the full 4%.

It is expensive to take our whole crew! That is why I follow this thread so closely lol!! We don't do PH tickets so that helps a little. The ones we have for our Sept trip are actually conference tickets. We've used those the last couple of trips. You cannot upgrade them but we never do/want to so it works fine for us. The savings is nice and we can pay for them with Disney GC so they end up being a great deal.

I am not familiar with Parksavers. Maybe they have bought up tickets and can honor the current price for awhile. And maybe prices won't increase for awhile but it seems all the 'insiders' think a price hike is soon.

I'm more concerned that Disney will change their ticket structure (like when they went from PHs and PHPs to MYW tickets). If they go with surge pricing, MYW tickets will still be honored but upgrading will most likely not be permitted. There's a deal on MYW tickets for DVC members right now. Tickets must be purchased by March 31. I'm beginning to think that a ticket price increase (or change) will be coming April 1.

Hmm, interesting on that timing of that sale. Could be Apr 1!

I really don't get the possible new ticket structure. Is there anywhere I can read up on it to understand it rather than wading through the massive thread that was floating around? I'm really not even sure if it would affect us as we always go in off times and buy MYW tickets.

I think they talked about it on a recent DisUnplugged show. It explained it pretty well!
 
Not to get in to the "should we start another thread" discussion - but, does anyone know if there is an Ebates thread, or does anyone think it would be beneficial to start one? I have begun to use it pretty frequently and I have some questions about some things, but I'd hate to clog up this feed as the questions I have don't really pertain to Disney GC's.
 
Is everyone else still getting ebates cashback when buying gift cards from Target + a small item? I have not gotten credited for my last three orders so just wondering if it is only me.

Yes, I got an ebated cashback yesterday when I bought some eBay cards when I thought it was 4x eBay bucks, not 4%! It took a little while but, maybe an hour or two, but it finally showed up and I got an email letting me know. I bought a .54 pack of pencils.

I did, I kind of thought it would work out despite the stated incorrect total, but I backed out and reentered the GCs and the bucks total was then stated correctly. Now I'm not seeing an Ebates earning though. It logged the shopping trip but no money indicated yet.

Good! The last two eBay trips have been delayed (like 3-4 days) for me on eBates. Hopefully they turn up soon!
