What is the best strategy for getting the 4th fastpass + ? Do they make those available in all 4 parks?

We'll be there at opening at all parks, but one person likes to sleep in so he'll meet us at lunch every day around 12 noon or 1pm. Should we just get in lines in the morning and save all of our fastpass + 's for after lunch so we can ride with him?

FPass
1-2 pm
2-3 pm
3-4 pm
- 4th fastpass ?? For evening?

Well, if it were me, I wouldn't modify the plans of the entire group, because one of them happens to be a night owl. That said, I think the FPs are better used during the more crowded times anyway, so I'd probably have mine starting in the early afternoon any way, especially if I were going during busier season. Then, yeah, get your extras for after dinner.

Thanks for the input! So, we could do something like this?

2-3 FP 1
3-4 FP 2
4-5 FP 3
5-6 4th FP if anything is available that is!

If it were me, I'd probably eat an earlier lunch, and start my FPs at 12:30 or 1, instead of 2. That way my 4th FP is starting at 3:30 instead of 5. But yes, you could do that. Depending on when you're going, you might be surprised what's available. The idea is to get as many big rides done with no FP before the big crowds arrive, then use the FPs when they show up. To me, that is the best strategy.

Good recommendation. We could also schedule a FP+ for before lunch, let our straggler's FP's begin with our 2nd FP and he will get 3 while we get 4 (if everything works out as planned).

You actually don't have to wait until the 3rd FP time is over. You can book your 4th as soon as you use/get done with FP #3 attraction. So if it happens to be scheduled for 2:30-3:30 and you are at attraction right at 2:30 and done by 2:45 or 3, you can go book your 4th right then. Of course it depends on FP availability for what you want to do as to when the 4th one actually gets scheduled for (if that makes sense). Also, I've read that once you use your first FP, you *may* be able to move the 2nd and 3rd times up, if there is FP availability for those attractions.

There are certain rides that have long lines even in the morning and if those rides are on your itinerary, I would actually make fp+ for them in the morning and fit in rides with short standbys in between fp times. That way your 4th time comes up at noon and you could have more availability for that early of the day. Those rides are 7 dwarfs, Peter Pan and space mountain. If they are not on your itinerary then it really doesn't matter.

And if it were me, the sleeper is on his own and worries about his own fp+ once he arrives.

But you can get so much done in the morning if you hold off on those busy FP rides til a little later in the day (early afternoon). If you do your FP rides in the morning, by afternoon, the rides with minimal morning waits now have long afternoon waits and you may not necessarily get additional FP for all of them. JMHO

I think I'm going to go with this strategy - FP+ beginning at noon and ride the short lines before then. We want to wait for my dh who likes to sleep in because we like to ride with him, and also he is paying for the trip!

I have one day at MK where I am going to try to get as many extra FP as possible. Plan looks something like this:
9:25 7DMT
10:30 Peter Pan
11:30 Haunted Mansion

From there I would like to FP+ any or all of the following
POTC, Jungle, BTMR, Splash

I know we will be using 7DMT and PP for sure then can move HM to an earlier time if available or to another ride altogether depending on the HM wait time. We are going on a AM EMH MNSSHP day in October and starting with Space/Buzz/Speedway then what we can out of Tea Cups/Dumbo/Barnstormer/Mermaid until our 7DMT window opens.

until our 7DMT window opens.
You should plan on 7DMT @ 10:00 or 10:15 and then from there go to PP.

Keep riding the rides with short lines and enter 7DMT near the end of your FP window as it's very unlikely you'll be able to move up PP.
