Hello all. Me and my partner are planning to get married in next year pref in Disney we are looking at the memories package which is coming out at $2495 Would we have to add in the official to officiate the wedding ? If so Is there any rough estimate prices. The same with wedding certificates etc. Just trying to get a rough idea of everything that is included and not and how much. If that makes any sense

License is about $80 I believe. Most of the officients are about $200. HTH

I'm planning a memories wedding and for the wedding, the only required extra costs are as the PP said: officiant and marriage liscense.

Other things we are considering adding are extra photography, dinner at Ohana, a wishes fireworks cruise, some money for drinks, dress, manicure/ pedicure, and hair and make-up

The State of Florida charges $93.50 for a license. If you want to order a cake from your Disney resort or a Disney restaurant, a 6-inch fondant-covered, fancy cake starts at around $75.

I'll be keeping an eye on this forum. I'm looking to have a memories wedding with my boyfriend, but didn't realise of the extra costs which are not too expensive.

Is the officiant hired through Disney or is it a 3rd party that comes in to do the ceremony.

1) In some cases, yes.
2) Others have prices more like
. . . $125 for the ceremony
. . . $50 extra for a rehearsal
. . . $125-$250 for counseling, if trying to get married within 3-days of license (if the officiant is county-certified for pre-marital counseling), as I am.
. . . some do it less expensively, and just ask you to send a "free will" offering to a charity
. . . as with any service-person, prices are subject to their demands, so you should shop around
4) These are officiant prices, and exclude license, Disney fees, etc
5) lurkyloo has a far greater (and better) grasp on Disney pricing and arrangements, as I only address officiant costs and activities.

Reduced if you do Florida Pre-Marital Counseling.

Yes, Florida residents can get a $32.50 discount on their license with proof of counseling. Some of us out-of-state brides have been able to get the discount on our licenses by showing proof of premarital counseling. However, many out-of-state couples are told they do not qualify for the discount.

Seems pricey for a 6 inch cake, yikes!

You can get the price down to $40-$50 if you skip fondant and fancy decorations. Or you can just request a premade 6-inch cake in all-chocolate or all-vanilla at the podium of any Disney restaurant except Victoria & Albert's.
